When you say the cars are heavy and inconsistent in mad city I think i adds realism to the game instead of every car being relatively the same in Jailbreak and the inconsistency is part of variation so nothing feels exactly the same and provides a different experience in each car
The main problem with Jailbreak is that the game feels unfinished and because of this it is difficult to call it a full-fledged game because there is too much to fix and improve. And Mad City feels like a full-fledged game in which everything is on top and it has everything you need for the title of a full-fledged game and it could easily sell on Steam as a separate game. The controls for mobile are just so lazy. Like, who the heck had the idea to drive the car with the thumbstick? This makes no sense! It ain't that hard to make buttons to accelerate and brake, turn left or right.
I’ve watched a few of these “jailbreak versus mad city ch.2” reviews and I have realized after playing both games that they never give jailbreak credit for the sheer beauty of the game. Mad City is okay, but Jailbreak has got to have some of the nicest graphics on Roblox. Not to mention the people that do these reviews are new to one of the games, so they can’t properly compare the two games due to an unequal level of experience in one or other games.

Good comparison! It all comes with preferences for everyone of course, but I myself prefer Mad City more than Jailbreak. Both are really good in their own ways, although Imo Jailbreak has more flaws and hate than Mad City does. Mad City attention to detail is really good, in terms of graphics wise, customization, game mechanics, heists and how the water physics work, especially when it's raining! The addition to new roles such as Heros and Villains are also a good factor to the game, so you don't have to only be a criminal nor a cop all the time. I've used to play Jailbreak, at first it was enjoyable, but then it got boring for me personally really quickly. Although with Mad City, there's this just feeling that keeps me playing it, it's enjoyable for me and there's always something for me to do, even if it seems repetitive. P.S The music in Mad City when it comes to vehicle radios, heists and the club are fire.
This is just such a good statement but with mad city having double the amount of creators jailbreak has is harder for jailbreak appreciate there hard work on the game and they blocky style of the game makes if feel like it’s a roblox game now jailbreak gets boring because you should try new things in the game, they added battle passes for free and get free items by grinding in the game and people say when competing both games that jailbreak feels unfinished, what they do they fill in the gaps little by little coming with new robberies and updates every month. Personally I find that despite the battle passes and new things they add to the game, the core gameplay and mechanics are quite repetitive, something that both games suffer from. Okay, so I played Mad City for about 2 years straight and played Jailbreak, but the detail in Mad City is way better than in Jailbreak. Also, every part of the map in mad city has something in there, but in Jailbreak a lot of stuff is left blank, so I like Mad City better! Good Job Taymaster!
both madcity and jb are really on the top both of them put good updates but madcity keeps revamping stuff a lot .And jb adds new things and revamps time to time.which keeps players to grind and not get bored after playing for like an hour . the part where jb is better is the car physics, garage, trading and overall Jailbreak is more fun and better at most aspects at playing and madcity is more realistic

it all comes down to personal preference and why you started playing the game, did you like the robbery's? did you join the community from its popularity? personally I love mad city's for its graphics and realism but its not like other people would disagree, both are very good games and have same level of quality.
To me, Mad City feels like just a clone of Jailbreak since it has many of the same game aspects and robberies. Although unlike Jailbreak, Mad City is a lot harder to play and if you’re new to the game, it’s hard to get how the game works, unlike Jailbreak which has more of a ‘learn as you play’ feel to it with easier controls, robberies and vehicles.
A lot of people say Mad City is a clone of Jailbreak but I think not because prison is basically a genre now because of the amount of prison games and Mad City introduced a lot of new stuff like boss fights, heros n’ villains, and giant lore filled with so many original characters (I’m not counting the jailbreak lore actual lore because the only 2 characters are the devs)

But I did use to play a lot of jailbreak when I was younger, sure, I wasn’t good at it but I think that for a dev team of 3 people, they’ve done a very good job but in my opinion, I prefer mad city more than jailbreak because of how it feels now. And I mean, both games still have problem, I don’t think that either games are perfect, but I just wanted to say that you always need to play the game to see if it’s a clone, you can’t just say Enchanted Portals is a clone of Cuphead because they are both platformer boss runs. You need to take into consideration how much work both of these dev teams have put in they’re games and I think both games are a work of art for Roblox. Case closed.

I have played both a lot, and in my opinion I prefer Madcity, but Jailbreak is also awesome, especially with the car physics and graphics, but Madcity is better with content.
Jailbreak is better ._. reason : cars have a vast variety with customization and handling/speed and detail with guns however jb is a automatic win for me you didn't have the better/good guns like the sniper or force field launcher or flintlock/flint has best animation I ofc am a jb player and I feel like whichever one you play more, is the one u will say is better even if u know the other is better take it for all of mad city players u will think that mc is better than jb and othey way around for jb players too, it's all in whichever game you or the player likes more and has a genuine good time playing the game
Jailbreak is a bit unfinished but it's because the developers didn't add everything they want yet. But they keep adding tons of content every update. While madcity's dev's already added the most of the stuff that they want.

Money greed would be a good one as well. In jail break literally every missile costs you about one robbery. Plus guns need to be grinded for, meanwhile jailbreak may have the best guns locked behind gamepasses, but at least everything else is free. You’ve got to give jailbreak credit with things too like the overall quality of the game also has a really nice layout with the stuff on screen but the biggest different between the two is that jailbreak updates a lot more, you also did the review when madcity did the biggest update ever only took them 3 years lol
it takes jailbreak developers 2 months before adding a new season and apparently the updates are faster than mad city? also im giving mad city a pass on updates because their dev team was getting shorter back then and btw the chapter 2 update had 10+ updates inside of it meaning if jailbreak were to do a recode too it would take just as long if not longer due to jailbreak always updating every 2 months
They’ve redone the driving physics again (slightly) which makes them a little bit better. Try finding a long strip of road. Fastest car you’ve got. Start driving, and then use a full tank of nitro. It’s incredible.
Agreed. Mad City’s car physics imo are way better designed than Jailbreak’s. 1. Drifting is actually fun and good in Mad City. 2. Nitro allows more control over your speed making it so you can drive properly while in the city. 3. You can actually reach the top speed of your car and not constantly be accelerating like in JB. It annoys me how hard it is the reach top speed in JB.

@@Boss-bn4oi No. Your reasoning is false. Jailbreak cars constantly accelerate. Mad City cars have a medium top speed usually and when you use nitro you can get their extremely fast top speed. Jailbreak vehicles take forever to reach their top speed making it boring a lot of the time. The roadster is praised for it’s acceleration yet has about the same accel as a MC vehicle.

The only problems I have with mad city are dogs and car physics and I don't touch dogs too much and the only bad car physics I see is with the hovering vehicles which is a small portion but in jailbreak I really don't like how running/swiming works and a few other things that I forget in jailbreak leaving me to play more mad city
I am not going to say your wrong but the swimming and runny are from default roblox it’s every game what do you not understand? I played mad city for whole 5 months and the hardest them to learn is escaping. And all the cars are smooth including are flying viechles too.
Never mind about the running and swimming I just remembered that I thought it was bad when I was younger but I just joined and it feels perfectly fine but the cars always just bounce And Spin around after A minute or two of driving. The flying vehicles in jailbreak are perfectly fine though. if you played mad City chapter 2 escaping the prison is a lot easier because it will show a icon with the tool that you have in your hot bar where it has to be used
I just want to say that most of the things your were comparing such as shooting at water, colliding into objects, and other stuff were a bit pointless. I think you should have added things like graphics, UGI, team balance, seasons and etc.

Honestly I like jailbreak better. I am probably biased because I play Jailbreak more, but Mad City is hard to play and there are too many features on the map, making everything confusing. Jailbreak is a bit more simple, yes, but the devs put a lot of effort into patching glitches and renovating old things. Because Mad City has a giant team working on the game, lots of things are added, making the game more chaotic.
The difference between both games robbery music is that jailbreak’s is free and made by roblox so anyone can use it you can find it in the tool box. While Mad City’s is customary composed and made for mad city and you will never see it in a different game.

it all comes down to personal preference and why you started playing the game, did you like the robbery's? did you join the community from its popularity? personally I love mad city's for its graphics and realism but its not like other people would disagree, both are very good games and have same level of quality.
I like how this got inspired my ENXGMA
To me, Mad City feels like just a clone of Jailbreak since it has many of the same game aspects and robberies. Although unlike Jailbreak, Mad City is a lot harder to play and if you’re new to the game, it’s hard to get how the game works, unlike Jailbreak which has more of a ‘learn as you play’ feel to it with easier controls, robberies and vehicles.
A lot of people say Mad City is a clone of Jailbreak but I think not because prison is basically a genre now because of the amount of prison games and Mad City introduced a lot of new stuff like boss fights, heros n’ villains, and giant lore filled with so many original characters (I’m not counting the jailbreak lore actual lore because the only 2 characters are the devs)

@@smilyboi9847 as a person a loves to play mad city, I think the devs have really outdone themselves since chapter 2 dropped. The game feels a lot smoother now. But I did use to play a lot of jailbreak when I was younger, sure, I wasn’t good at it but I think that for a dev team of 3 people, they’ve done a very good job but in my opinion, I prefer mad city more than jailbreak because of how it feels now. And I mean, both games still have problem, I don’t think that either games are perfect, but I just wanted to say that you always need to play the game to see if it’s a clone, you can’t just say Enchanted Portals is a clone of Cuphead because they are both platformer boss runs. You need to take into consideration how much work both of these dev teams have put in they’re games and I think both games are a work of art for Roblox.

1.The amount of p2w in Mad city (Heavy Weapons, Swat Pass, VIP Pass Scar Pass)
The part where you mentioned mad city having a great abundance of weapons well all the good ones are locked behind game passes
(Jailbreaks Has p2w game passes but not at the level of mad city where combat and grinding is buffed so much to the point it’s overpowered yes jailbreak has the duffel bag and the premium garage pass and boss pass but atleast it’s not at the same level of p2w as mad city) (All the game passes in Jailbreak are P2W but it’s not completely unfair to free players as opposed to mad city free players)
2.The Bugs
Seriously I am disappointed that there are so many god damn bugs Cmon guys how can you not realize that the devs were given about 1 year and 7 months and not to mention there were A lot of devs working on mad city(Taymaster , FamedChris and many more)
3.The Amount of time you have to grind in order to buy items
Yes the heists in mad city DO GIVE MORE but compared to the expensiveness of the Items and the frequency of heists opening they are Just paper scraps
4.Interaction Between Players
Mad city Has less interaction between players And combat is severely unbalanced due to the p2w weapons And the Amount of Annoying bugs, I dunno if the shotgun doing so less damage was intentional or not but if it wasn’t Then they really need to fix that it’s really annoying when your in combat with someone and the shot gun bugs out and deals so less damage also half the items in mad city automatically become useless once you escape prison nor is there any interaction between two people to start heists like the tomb and museum in jailbreak
5.Realism(This is not an argument against mad city but an argument for people to see that some features need to be changed for gameplay sake)
Ok so I see a lot of people talking about realism in the comments so let’s get started, To start off do you think Having Heroes and Villains is realistic hell no and on top of that heroes and villains have the same health as criminals and police officers Why tf do p2w game pass weapons do more damage than all hero and villains powers and why do all the heist buildings have sooo many design flaws? Obviously for gameplay sake it’s a video game a good feature need not be realistic it could be extremely unrealistic like jailbreaks driving mechanic but people still like jailbreaks driving mechanics more
P.S: I see what the developers did with the scar clever way to make more money way to go making it a separate pass rather than putting it with the heavy weapons pass

I have played both a lot, and in my opinion I prefer Madcity, but Jailbreak is also awesome, especially with the car physics and graphics, but Madcity is better with content.
Jailbreak is better ._. reason : cars have a vast variety with customization and handling/speed and detail with guns however jb is a automatic win for me you didn't have the better/good guns like the sniper or force field launcher or flintlock/flint has best animation I ofc am a jb player and I feel like whichever one you play more, is the one u will say is better even if u know the other is better take it for all of mad city players u will think that mc is better than jb and othey way around for jb players too, it's all in whichever game you or the player likes more and has a genuine good time playing the game

You clearly play mad city more then jailbreak the animations are lazy and stuff but that’s what makes jailbreak, second you didn’t rob Jewelry store correctly, and you haven’t progressed in the game that much, look I don’t hate on mad city but just to steal jailbreak’s concept is just not ok in my opinion. The reason is mad city has a whole team working on the game and jailbreak has 2 friends in collage with the help of people on Reddit. So please next time be the same progress on each game RESEARCH on the game before playing it. I wish this helped and both games are good.

Money greed would be a good one as well. In jail break literally every missile costs you about one robbery. Plus guns need to be grinded for, meanwhile jailbreak may have the best guns locked behind gamepasses, but at least everything else is free. Jailbreak just loves to suck your soul out with onetime purchases.
You’ve got to give jailbreak credit with things too like the overall quality of the game also has a really nice layout with the stuff on screen but the biggest different between the two is that jailbreak updates a lot more, you also did the review when madcity did the biggest update ever only took them 3 years lol
it takes jailbreak developers 2 months before adding a new season and apparently the updates are faster than mad city? also im giving mad city a pass on updates because their dev team was getting shorter back then and btw the chapter 2 update had 10+ updates inside of it meaning if jailbreak were to do a recode too it would take just as long if not longer due to jailbreak always updating every 2 months

They’ve redone the driving physics again (slightly) which makes them a little bit better. Try finding a long strip of road. Fastest car you’ve got. Start driving, and then use a full tank of nitro. It’s incredible.
Agreed. Mad City’s car physics imo are way better designed than Jailbreak’s.
1. Drifting is actually fun and good in Mad City.
2. Nitro allows more control over your speed making it so you can drive properly while in the city.
3. You can actually reach the top speed of your car and not constantly be accelerating like in JB. It annoys me how hard it is the reach top speed in JB.

@@Boss-bn4oi No. Your reasoning is false. Jailbreak cars constantly accelerate. Mad City cars have a medium top speed usually and when you use nitro you can get their extremely fast top speed. Jailbreak vehicles take forever to reach their top speed making it boring a lot of the time. The roadster is praised for it’s acceleration yet has about the same accel as a MC vehicle.

The only problems I have with mad city are dogs and car physics and I don't touch dogs too much and the only bad car physics I see is with the hovering vehicles which is a small portion but in jailbreak I really don't like how running/swiming works and a few other things that I forget in jailbreak leaving me to play more mad city

I am not going to say your wrong but the swimming and runny are from default roblox it’s every game what do you not understand? I played mad city for whole 5 months and the hardest them to learn is escaping. And all the cars are smooth including are flying viechles too.
Never mind about the running and swimming I just remembered that I thought it was bad when I was younger but I just joined and it feels perfectly fine but the cars always just bounce And Spin around after A minute or two of driving. The flying vehicles in jailbreak are perfectly fine though. if you played mad City chapter 2 escaping the prison is a lot easier because it will show a icon with the tool that you have in your hot bar where it has to be used

I just want to say that most of the things your were comparing such as shooting at water, colliding into objects, and other stuff were a bit pointless. I think you should have added things like graphics, UGI, team balance, seasons and etc.

Now I have been saying this to everyone but mad city has 6 devs mean while jailbreak has 2 collage students that recently added a third one, mad city doesn’t feel like a roblox game but jailbreak does, and in mad city the water physics are annoying when you go into them in the car, so the reason jailbreak doesn’t fix that because people would be annoyed and since there is where on most of the map it would get annoying.

Honestly I like jailbreak better. I am probably biased because I play Jailbreak more, but Mad City is hard to play and there are too many features on the map, making everything confusing. Jailbreak is a bit more simple, yes, but the devs put a lot of effort into patching glitches and renovating old things. Because Mad City has a giant team working on the game, lots of things are added, making the game more chaotic.

The difference between both games robbery music is that jailbreak’s is free and made by roblox so anyone can use it you can find it in the tool box. While Mad City’s is customary composed and made for mad city and you will never see it in a different game.
