This isn’t a typical Gourmet On The Road episode. What appealed to me most about Director, Santhosh Ananddram’s upcoming film, Raghavendra Stores, set in a fictional eatery in Malenadu, wasn’t just its earthy, realistic portrayal of culinary traditions, but also its message. That tackled headlong the social challenges faced by those in the food trade, the protagonist in this film unable to find a bride due to his profession as a cook or ‘adige bhatta’. In this fun conversation, I catch up with Santhosh Ananddram, and actors, Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh and Shwetha Srivatsav over a delicious tiffin thindi at a Malleswaram icon, Sri Raghavendra Stores.

I'm a very big fan of Jaggesh Sir, he has his own style and genre. Very witty style of comedy. After he matured as an actor I feel he always chooses a film which has a message to the society.

Never heard about jaggesh. I was wondering how the lady was not just being left out of the conversation but also physically as jaggesh kept on closing the gap between him and kripal.
However towards the end jaggesh realised what was happening and brought her in between them and he himself consciously moved himself back.
That said a lot about him than anything he said or was said about him.
