Karthik suuburaj is one of the greatest Quentin Tarantino fan. In first part the director used his direction power to make the villian a comic. In this one it is the vice versa. Let's hope for the amazing references and the cinematic universe Karthik makes.😊

In his mind, karthik subbaraj thinks jigarthanda as a genre rather than a stand alone movie. He said it is partially inspired by Korean movies where art meets the crime world like the Dirty Carnival but with a nasty Tarantino (maybe Western) twist to the treatment. 😁 It is a spiritual sequel but in the same jigarthanda genre. That's his explanation 😊

This trailer is a metaphore to the movie, The harmonica man uses the police power and political power to put the elephant guy down but the elephant guy uses camera ( media) as a weapon against him.
@7:30 Achara mentioned one of the tusk was cut off from the elephant and asking about the significance of it. I don't know about the relevence to this movie, but an elephant with one tusk cut off represents Vinayagar (Lord Ganesh). Interesting thing to notice is that Vinayagar (Lord Ganesh) cut his right tusk to use as a pen to scribe the Mahabaratha, the epic, as Vedavyasa told the story. The elephant, in the teaser, looked like its tusk was missing on its left. But then again it's a mirror, so it could be the reflection of an elephant with it's right tusk cut off. Vinayagar is also known as the overcomer of obstacles and deity of good luck. Anyways, I think they did that in the teaser to show that he has got support/blessing of Vinayagar to overcome obstacles and/or to bring good luck to him, or he thinks of himself as someone who is lucky or can overcome any obstacle.
