    Been wanting to do a supercharger on this engine but there limited information info.like you said the snowmobile and the yamaha tracer 900 they all look a like...for the tracer 900 there is an aftermarket turbo kit.....now I been looking at a electric supercharger called torqueamp it pumps 5 psi tested on cars 4 cylinder. I'll see specs

    This was actually super helpful man, thank you. There is limited info surrounding the topic of forced induction with the TR1. I know Kommander and Proforce both offer Turbo’d versions of the Tr1 but there is not much talk of it. I’m planning on building this exact motor in a pro force hull running Garrett g25-550 turbo. It is a bit chunkier but it seems to be a better replacement then what Kommander offers in their Turbo kit. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind’ve working space do you have in the proforce hull to run a different Turbo setup on the Tr1? Also, is there room to build the motor up for higher boost levels? 10-12ish lbs?

    Supercharge the tr1 makes no sense! This engine is not made to handle the stress! Just get a gp1800r svho
    Way more power on a 4 cylinder already supercharged by factory and only 14g
    And it also uses a bigger pump!

      The TR-1 weighs HALF what a SVHO weighs.

      Tr-1 is in the new super jet im sure ppl will try to make it work in a stand up where a bigger engine wouldn't work

      Actually is really beefy to stand at least 250hp easy, if you CNC close the deck you can reach 350hp+, Rotax 900 ACE has been modified to reach 400 to 500hps on the Can Am Mavericks, check for street performance or Wahleen performance videos. Fro some size and weight applications is perfect. HO engines are really big, like Hondas K24's.
