Some Extra Tips: If you can't afford a legendary elephant, use an epic rabbit. It will boost your farming exp drastically. And you can craft your Medals to higher medals (*or lower medals if you want) at Anita (click on the powered rail).
For people reading this now, I don't recommend rabbit pet, or at least to stick to it for long. My maxed leg rabbit only decreased my ETA for levelling from one level to the next by about 5-15 minutes give or take. As opposed to the leg elephant which in those 5-15 minutes can give a TON more money. For example, in those 15 minutes the elephant would've made me an extra million. Where the rabbit would've only given me like 300k worth of items. So, rush for the elephant because money is fantastic if you're gonna sit there for hours anyways. Get a cheap epic rabbit via summoning eyes until you can afford an elephant, and use the elephant to get the farming EXP boost.
@@aniketwarty1 no it doesnt. Someone simply has to edit a .meta file to change the naming of an item and bye bye to your money :) The best way around this is to get the SB-resource pack which has custom item textures for all the skyblock items

For another clarification you can trade 4 silver medal for 1 gold or 2 bronze for 1 silver so you dont even need to get a gold medal to get those tools

Honestly, medal trading is super easy. Also once you can grind to get the hoe and get the replenish enchants, you can get consistent bronze and then build up from there. I started recently so this method worked better for me. And once you have the tools you have, you can just go for money. The medals only matter once you reach farming 50 and you wanna increase your cap. Else you can just medal trade and get the extra drops.. :) Edit: I am farming 23 with a rare elephant for now and I currently have potato, cane and wart hoe at tier 2 and 1 mil collection. If you are early game, your farms will actually help you to upgrade itself (play it like hardcore and you will feel it)

Thirty you can craft 2 bronze medals into a silver medal and 4 silver medals into a gold from Anita's shop above Jacob. You don't need to get a gold, you can get 8 bronze medals or 4 silvers lobby swapping wheat.
For the mathematical how blueprint, you are able to trade for it. It is a bit risky with backpacks but if you use a skyblock texture pack you can make sure it is real. I have one called Actually Assets. You can find it on the forums. It makes the math hoe a scroll and the wooden hoe is a wooden hoe. You can easily tell if someone is scamming you as long as you have backpack preview which you all SHOULD have. Using this pack, I managed to get all of the math hoes without being scammed. 10/16 people tried to scam me though so make sure to use the pack. I hope this helped.

Wheat is a really easy crop to get gold medals in, you just need a decent farming level (around 25 will probably be fine) and a tier 2 wheat hoe with turbo wheat. Where something like sugar cane, from my experience, it's hard to get gold in even with max hoe with 10 million on the counter and farming level 35 and elephant level 100, so i suggest starting with something easier.
The 4 is done so that you can just run-collect it whilst having a block behind you to run against. Everyone knows you can go 8, but it takes away so much efficiency

Unpopular Opinion Skyblock is only adding new late game stuff updates, early game is the same since the end update, every update adds a new more powerful and expensive gear, even thought we can already pretty much one shot everything, and also the game is too grindy, but some parts should be grindy like ranking up skills, but like going to the end to get money because of a rng drop? And also dungeons, everyone gets op stuff, ranks up some catacombs levels and goes to floor 7, you literally use only 2 floors if you want, and also people on the early game selling stuff for a horrible price because some late game sweat is selling that stuff in mass, skyblock should get a massive early game update, people say early game is the most fun, but i strongly disagree, also all the youtubers are late game, so if youre getting to skyblock and want to watch someone making vids on the game you will get bored of the game because there is NONE, if the early game updated people instead of playing 2 hours and quitting, they would actually play the game more because of the cool content. This is a opinion dont send hate towards me
Btw this is a psa: At 11:50 he says that you can get wheat with a rookie hoe. As of 12/23/20 even with a t2 maxed wheat hoe without elephant pet at farming 21 you are roughly at 60k away from gold at any given event.
Adding in from almost 2 years later, you can still 100% easily get a bronze metal lobby hopping in the wheat contest; the easiest bronze medal for starters I'd say is the mushroom one, the last contest for mushroom had a bronze at around 668

What i did was grind wheat, carrot, cactus and mushroom for easy bronze (possibly silver for wheat) on public lobbies, then bought a pumpkin dicer and now im rich.
Since I'm the work smarter not harder type crowd. I created flying farms for most of them. I have a 200x200 single layers of each type of farm (except beans, cactus, wart which I have all on the top layer) and I can snag a gold with all of them. I don't even need to switch clients. You can look at my farm if you visit in game (its my name). The kicker is that to really get consistent wins you need to be higher farming xp and decent counters on your tools.
If you cant affore a legendary elephant pet, you can buy a epic one and level that up. The more levels it gets, the cheaper it will be to upgrade when you give it to kat. I have a lvl 56 epic elephant, which will cost around 11mil to upgrade to legendary
Note: instead of farming sugar cane, you should farm carrots first as the farms are easier to build and plant with the special tools, and bronze medals only take about 3-5k of the crop. Also the double-drop chances can be better because carrots and potatoes have their own double drop chances by default.
I would recommend doing a wheat farm instead of a sugar cane. My first reason is wheat is easier to build. Second it only takes around 10 thousand wheat to get bronze for me it takes around 50 thousand.
Farming festivals have a percentage of players getting better rewards. But when some tryhard has got like 100 gold medals and maxed pretty much everything, they are pretty much only going to do it for extra profit. And if they have maxed everything out, they would probably wanna switch to dungeons for better profit and for their sanity. And if we get everyone who can't get easy medals farm just 100 crops taking like 10 secs, more people who are going for medals are getting more. If enough people are good with getting bronze/silver medals from wheat festival and using it for gold medals, then wheat won't become competetive. But nether wart met a different fate just because someone saw profit there and decided to tell everyone. Also someone else was frustrated seed pouch didn't work on wart. So here we are now. You could lobby hop before in the blazing fortress but now you need over 100k for bronze. No amount of lobby hopping early game players can stop that anymore. Also medal conversion
Make a coco bean farm first, mostly due to the amount of replenish books you will need to apply to all the hoes and axes. If you start with carrots, potatoes or cactus first, those medals are relatively easier than most other crops. Stay away from sugar cane and nether wart when starting for medals, but are great for cash. All the other farms just require higher farming levels for gold medals. For a good speed for double rows, try like 233%, you never miss when traveling in the water lanes sideways.

If you cant affore a legendary elephant pet, you can buy a epic one and level that up. The more levels it gets, the cheaper it will be to upgrade when you give it to kat. I have a lvl 56 epic elephant, which will cost around 11mil to upgrade to legendary

I don’t think this is true actually, as it is affected by legendary elephant pet and is under the farming collection, not alchemy
for the wart farm, i do 10 blocks wide in a strip of wart, hold w, tap d, and you can break 5 rows of wart instead of 2/3 a time

Note: instead of farming sugar cane, you should farm carrots first as the farms are easier to build and plant with the special tools, and bronze medals only take about 3-5k of the crop. Also the double-drop chances can be better because carrots and potatoes have their own double drop chances by default.

I would recommend doing a wheat farm instead of a sugar cane. My first reason is wheat is easier to build. Second it only takes around 10 thousand wheat to get bronze for me it takes around 50 thousand.
Farming festivals have a percentage of players getting better rewards. But when some tryhard has got like 100 gold medals and maxed pretty much everything, they are pretty much only going to do it for extra profit. And if they have maxed everything out, they would probably wanna switch to dungeons for better profit and for their sanity.
And if we get everyone who can't get easy medals farm just 100 crops taking like 10 secs, more people who are going for medals are getting more.
If enough people are good with getting bronze/silver medals from wheat festival and using it for gold medals, then wheat won't become competetive. But nether wart met a different fate just because someone saw profit there and decided to tell everyone. Also someone else was frustrated seed pouch didn't work on wart. So here we are now. You could lobby hop before in the blazing fortress but now you need over 100k for bronze. No amount of lobby hopping early game players can stop that anymore.
Also medal conversion
Make a coco bean farm first, mostly due to the amount of replenish books you will need to apply to all the hoes and axes. If you start with carrots, potatoes or cactus first, those medals are relatively easier than most other crops. Stay away from sugar cane and nether wart when starting for medals, but are great for cash. All the other farms just require higher farming levels for gold medals. For a good speed for double rows, try like 233%, you never miss when traveling in the water lanes sideways.

I have an ok amount of stuff like snow minions money strong dragon aotd (I didn’t really get into dungeons and kinda stopped playing about then) there’s just too much grinding for me tho xD maybe it’s just me
