What the heck! Why didn't sandy just wear the full underwater suit? It's like they chose to be nonsensical for the sake of showing how rude the citizens of Bikini Bottom are. 😒
Say what you will but...I kind of like Cashina’s design. Sure, she’s a stack of dollar bills, but they worked with that to make an interesting design. I love how the hair is just bills laying on top of the stack and curled at the ends. And the belt/outfit she wears is the tape that keeps the whole stack together. It really works and I find it very cute.
Honestly, I feel "Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy" would have worked better if Plankton had subdued Sandy, plucked a strand of her fur, locked her (in her subdued state) in the bathroom, took the hair to his lab for cloning, and created his own suit. I feel it would have been fun to bring in the science and technology Plankton used in older episodes; it also would give the opportunity for a mix-up gag (as seen in "Imitation Krabs") and a chance for Sandy to use karate against Plankton. That would show off Sandy's character and give Plankton his just desserts. But, all of that wouldn't give the writers an excuse for Sandy torture porn. It was rather sad to see an episode basically centered around bullying a main character, who is supposed to be someone smart and helpful to the community.
Someone give this person permission to be a spongebob writer because in my opinion that sounds very interesting and something I would actually wanna see
@@vianeyverde Yeah true. Both episodes lead Sandy to be bullied by the citizens of Bikini Bottom. But in SitKWS ends with Sandy being stupidly arrested. Sure it's for comedic purposes but she really got poked the whole episode.
Not just that, but if his initial plan with the sesame seed went as follows: [Wait in the sesame seed on the bun in the tray. Wait for SpongeBob to make a Krabby Patty for an order. Have the one who ordered the Krabby Patty be Karen disguised as a robot customer.] Then have him be surprised when the patty he's in suddenly go to Sandy.
I feel like your version is so much more interesting with the sci fi angle. Also the fact that I recall that the promotion for the episode revolved solely around the fight scene that, in the episode, lasts like a minute. Yeah your version would fix that.
I kinda wish that "Married to money" had a different ending, with Plankton getting emotional once Krabs is out of sigh looking at a picture of the wedding and tearing up, in a cartoony less dramatic way
Pearl's actions are actually understandable. Its annoying but understandable because she has gone years without having a mother in her life so her freaking out and having a weird Cinderella fear fits. She's a teenager. Teenagers tend to be over the top (though not all) and fear change especially when it comes to parents
If you think about it, maybe pearl's mom- made her do all of the things pearl stated, basically she was very abusive, which led Mr. crabs to leave pearls mom. This would explain why pearl is against mothers in this episode, and why Mr. crabs never questions her actions... All of this from just that one line, "she make me sweep up the -IHAVENOIDEA-." on another note, the prom thing she says after is oddly specific based on the circumstance she might have been in. In other words, her mom forced her to clean every mess in the house she lived in, mess's that were not made by pearl, which at one point led to her missing a prom date, loosing a chance for a boy she had a huge crush on... But to conclude, its but a theory of pearl and lacks any other evidence..
I love this idea, and it'd be a fun headcanon, but im pretty sure the writers just wanted some more conflict, and since Pearl acts like a princess, she relates it to cinderella, who had to sweep up cinders in one of the older tales

The dialogue for the end doesn't make sense but if you think about it in the context of the episode that Mr Krabs for once in his life time felt true emotional love and that his desperation/delusion for it is still showing which I find is fitting despite its weirdness.

It's pretty easy to rework a recipe into an original dish, especially when there's a key ingredient that gives the dish its magic. It's entirely possible plankton intends to simply find out what's in the formula to work it into his own food.
Three years latter and I haven't watched spongebob even longer then that but at somepoint wasn't it revealed they tried to start a restaurant together and each got separate parts of the recipe or something? I know plankton always planned on selling it too but I thought part of it was also revenge.
6:27 In defense of this moment, it's a parody of a very famous bit. I've seen tons of parodies of that bit. The most recent one I saw was with Slappy the squirrel in an episode of Animaniacs. The band "Who" was on stage and she went back and forth with her nephew about who was on stage. Though you're right in that it didn't really move the plot forward where that bit actually helped Slappy.
Devin Huffman I think it's a fairly common mixup. When I was a kiddo chatting on Minecraft with a friend, he at one point said "idk." So I asked him what it meant. And it's pretty obvious where that went.
46:56- 47:24 That's dark that is PLANKTON talking. He literally has a love obsession not just with the formulae but with krabs himself. Exoskeleton? elongated eyestalks? Do you honestly expect me to believe this is possible Nickelodeon?
how the hell did I forget about the flying dutchman also, my favorite thing about Gramma's Secret Recipe is how the sponge calls plankton's grandma portrayal "Grammyma" (or however you might spell it).
That scene with sandy removing her fur is hair clenchingly terrifying considering the two points of A.) She wears multiple sets of clothes, and B.) WHY IS SHE ABLE TO SEPERATE HER FUR/SKIN FROM HER BODY
Okay this even bothered me as a kid. Cause I was a literal child when most of these episodes came out and I remember hating watching someone’s in the kitchen with sandy, I hated seeing sandy being tortured especially for no reason. But that’s aside the point. Aside from her HAVING A SUIT! SHE COULD BE CLOTHES, WE HAVE SEEN SHE HAS CLOTHES BEFORE! And aside from her NOT BEING NAKED! What really bothers me is the fact that the police officer who calls her a hairless goat just laughs at her nudity, but then the officer later in the episode ARRESTS HER! Like I get it, it was for a joke, but I was probably like 10 when this episode came out and I remember so well, as a ten year old, I not only noticed this but was bothered by this! like I understand the argument about shows being stupid because they’re for kids to an extent, but when the literal children watching the show are bothered and made physically disgusted by what they are watching, you know there’s a problem!
i heard from a video on deleted spongebob scenes that sandy was apparently going to be COMPLETELY exposed. why they thought that was a good idea, or why they didn't go back and rewrite it are beyond me.
What’s worse is that 3 of these are in the same Season. “Someone’s in the Kitchen with Sandy”, “Grandma’s Secret Recipe”, and “Shellback Shenanigans” are all in Season 7.
The main thing that gets me is that the wedding decorations in married to money is the exact same layout of that eleventy-seventh anniversariy episode (idk what it called)
Theoretically speaking, Lady and the Tramp could work if everything is set up perfectly, you have to eat all the spaghetti in the forkful except for the one single piece that your partner is eating or you could just only eat one piece at a time, it has to be long enough to reach from one mouth to the other, which would require you to make it that way, taking out the suprise element, which is important, it has to be thick enough to not break, the unexpecting one has to have their head turned without them noticing, and you have to not know how to eat spaghetti, props to anyone who actually read this.
+samanthamcburney I say Mr Krabs later filed a divorce when he discovered that Plankton was the person in the shell. Heck I can imagine him saying: OH COME ON PLANKTON! THIS IS AT LEAST THE SIXTH TIME YOU'VE DONE THIS! Why do you have to be so LAZY!? At this point you could be on top and have already won and still lose. And then fling Plankton into King Neptune's face.
How Plankton can get the formula. Step One: Pay a guy to buy a Krabby Patty Step Two: Guy buys Krabby Patty legally Step Three: Guy goes back to Plankton and gives him the Patty. How to make an episode around it: Have Plankton try to manipulate Patrick into doing this but have Patrick constantly screw up (by eating the Patty, dropping it in the toilet etc). Plankton keeps getting madder each time. Eventually Patricks gets him the patty, but Plankton is so mad and yells at him, not realising he just knocked the burger out of Patrick's hand and away from him. Feelings hurt, Patrick leaves stepping on Plankton in the process. Not the best story I'll admit, but at least it isn't a disguise one again.
Although long shows are known to have some stinkers, a lot of the BAD SB episodes came from Nick giving the writers LITTLE TIME to do good episodes! So shameful.
I think when Sandy referred to getting help (in 49:25), she instantly thought of Spongebob, and knew that he'd be working at the Krusty Krab. Even though no one in Bikini Bottom would help her, she knew she could rely on him and went to get him at his job (Still kinda lazy on the writers though, Sandy wasn't really looking for the fur thief when she went to get Spongebobs help, but he just so happened to be there.)
The whole Plankton making playground insults to Crabs actually works for me given how they've known each other since they were kids and their rivalry does have a childish quality to it.
I figured out a way to canonically make the "Sandy Fur Suit" make sense. In the pre-movie SpongeBob episode "Survivalof the Idiots", SpongeBob and Patrick take all of Sandy's fur off to make themselves warm after getting stuck in her tree dome during winter. She wakes up and her fur is still missing. So if the fur loss was permanent, maybe she created the fur suit to look more normal. This is a stretch but it's the only explanation for this weird episode.
Something I’ve been wondering about the “Someone’s in the Kitchen with Sandy” episode is that Plankton just stole her fur, right? Not her actual water suit? It’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen the episode to be fair, but if he only stole the fur she should still be able to wear her suit and pretty much avoid the naked problem
I planned on watching this to get sleep ( like watch it as I fall asleep and eventually fall asleep at like the 30 minute mark) yeah I watched the whole thing
"I'm no Mr. Clean but I wouldn't put someone's dentures into my mouth, Let alone without W A S H I N G T H E M" I loved that line it was my favorite. Timestamp: 11:45
Another thing that also doesn't make sense about "Someone's in the kitchen with Sandy" is that there is no air in Sandy's home and yet he gets out of the bowl with no water to shut the door...
Alpha Jay Show Also... how did planktons grandma get in the safe but plankton can't even get in himself? Another thing, I am in the process of making fan art. Should I just post it on my twitter ?
You know I always wanted to believe that the only reason why "Someone's In The Kitchen With Sandy" exists. Is because one of the writers was feeling kinky, and wanted to see Sandy without her fur.
I think the reason that sandy can like remove her fur is maybe a call back to the hibernation episode in the first season with the Pinhead because I think that's the only time I can meet with her fur shedding
I know you won't want to do long episodes for a while (and I don't blame you. It's hard) but I really enjoyed this one and it didn't even feel like an hour! Your points are coherent, your opinions make sense, and your flow is perfect from one section to the next. 10/10 fam :-)
The only reason i can think of for sandy having a fur suit is because spongebob and Patrick shaved off her fur for warmth and it never grew back? Or maybe someone was high, could be a lot of things.
Honestly, i really like this channel since it isn't just critisizing every little thing the show does but also doesn't blindly agree and cheer on everything either... this is actually very interesting to listen to
When you say the disguises plot could be reused if they're interesting, I feel that may not be true, or at least because that's up to interpretation. I think reusing the disguise plot could be justified by having him try to trick someone other than Spongebob. Stealing the Krabby Patty formula can be reused because he always fails and it's his goal, he has to keep trying to accomplish his goal. It would make more sense if Plankton tried to reuse a scheme on different characters. Have Plankton disguise himself as, let's say, a famous musician or artist, and convince Squidward to get him a Krabby Patty or the formula.
Sandy being able to remove her fur like that as well as the ending are both the reason that Someone’s In The Kitchen Win Sandy is my least favorite episode out of the entire series.
I went to YMS' soundtrack playlist and started listening to some of the songs while I was watching this and it helped me enjoy the video a lot more. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the video but listening to music in the background helped me enjoy it more. Maybe if you added background music it might help heighten your audiences' enjoyment of your videos. And if you're worried about copyright, there's plenty of royalty free music out there that you can use how ever much you want without having to worry about copyright. You don't have to listen to me of course, after all, I'm just one person. I'll still watch your content regardless.
I think, by help, Sandy means she was going to go to Spongebob to ask for his help. She just so happened to conveniently find the one who stole her fur at the same time.
Plankton is by far one of my favorite characters in cartoons. His determination is unmatched, he wakes up every morning knowing he is going to fail. Yet he always gives it his best shot, he will continue to try despite knowing that he will fail It inspires me so much.
bro how tf did no one notice plankton in Sandy's fur. she's not wearing somthing to protect her from breathing??? how would somone not point that out??

To be fair: Sandy doesnt need to worry about people entering the bathroom she's the only airbreather around. ...But the presence of a lock the other way is quite confusing.

You have passed your essay.
in a videogame in a locker Spongebob has a pic of sandy, AMD he comments how pretty she is.
Jon foy Source?
Sophia V its a old PC game. I believe it was "employee of the month"
Jon foy I had that game and I vaguely remember that part
Employee of the month.
Employee of the week
What’s worse is that 3 of these are in the same Season. “Someone’s in the Kitchen with Sandy”, “Grandma’s Secret Recipe”, and “Shellback Shenanigans” are all in Season 7.
"special friends"
+Jaron Doesn't Upload!!!!!! Lol
The main thing that gets me is that the wedding decorations in married to money is the exact same layout of that eleventy-seventh anniversariy episode (idk what it called)
Theoretically speaking, Lady and the Tramp could work if everything is set up perfectly, you have to eat all the spaghetti in the forkful except for the one single piece that your partner is eating or you could just only eat one piece at a time, it has to be long enough to reach from one mouth to the other, which would require you to make it that way, taking out the suprise element, which is important, it has to be thick enough to not break, the unexpecting one has to have their head turned without them noticing, and you have to not know how to eat spaghetti,
props to anyone who actually read this.
I have no idea if it's a good, or bad thing that my first thought after seeing you dub Imitation Krabs #1 was "Ravioli."
+ToaKoran Lol
So wait does this mean Plankton and Mr krabs are married? XD Would that make Plankton Sheldon J. Krabs? I'm sorry I'll see myself out XD
samantha mcburney I would have loved that!
XD
*hurls at thought*
Just wait until Karen finds out.
How Plankton can get the formula.
Step One: Pay a guy to buy a Krabby Patty
Step Two: Guy buys Krabby Patty legally
Step Three: Guy goes back to Plankton and gives him the Patty.
+Less Is More Yeah, season 6 is terrible.
I totally agree with your list! Married to money beats alllll the others..it's the best rip off lol. But seriously? I hope they're DONE with rip offs.
I just realized that this is an hour long
Ok jerry
You dummy
That epic roast on sandy's hearing though
+Sandra Boswell Lol ikr
Something I’ve been wondering about the “Someone’s in the Kitchen with Sandy” episode is that Plankton just stole her fur, right? Not her actual water suit? It’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen the episode to be fair, but if he only stole the fur she should still be able to wear her suit and pretty much avoid the naked problem
Plankton should have gotten the spin off, seems like you could do a lot more with his character then always trying to steal the secret formula.
Tell me i'm not the only one that noticed Plankton using a 2 lens glasses
I planned on watching this to get sleep ( like watch it as I fall asleep and eventually fall asleep at like the 30 minute mark) yeah I watched the whole thing
"I'm no Mr. Clean but I wouldn't put someone's dentures into my mouth, Let alone without W A S H I N G T H E M" I loved that line it was my favorite. Timestamp: 11:45
I choose not to worry about continuity between Spongebob episodes. Spongebob's one of those shows that always resets after every episode.
Theory : Pearls mom was named Penny
Salty As fuq maybe her mom left Ugene because he was poor and THAT is why he is greedy...because he doesn't want his "future" wife to leave him.
0:07 Me: *looks around, and starts to mumble*
Th-that's what sh-she said
I think in Someone’s in the Kitchen With Sandy, her original plan was to ask SpongeBob for help
I love how detailed you are, I dunno why.
Your channel is the definition of hard work. You work for your viewers and have for years. I respect that.
Another thing that also doesn't make sense about "Someone's in the kitchen with Sandy" is that there is no air in Sandy's home and yet he gets out of the bowl with no water to shut the door...
+Makoto Tachibana Oh yeah, Plankton couldn't have left the dome.
Alpha Jay Show
Also... how did planktons grandma get in the safe but plankton can't even get in himself?
Another thing, I am in the process of making fan art. Should I just post it on my twitter ?
+Makoto Tachibana Yeah and make sure to @ me so I can see it.
+Makoto Tachibana I love it!
Sandy got arrested for public nudity by the police but she was spotted by police officers earlier in the episode and they just laughed.
If you haven't watched Mimick madness..I think it's a good episode. It may not be 100% original, but it's no ripoff!
I just discovered the channel and in addicted. I'm super into your analysis!
Also, still dying at the "🤧 I'm allergic to this episode"
What happened to squidward’s girlfriend and what happened to mr.Krabs and Mrs.Puff dating, which in fact has been dug into in some episodes. 🤷♂️
i can't belive i just watched an hour of spongebob
The Seabear is back

Some Random Homo Sapien: That's a Oval
You know I always wanted to believe that the only reason why "Someone's In The Kitchen With Sandy" exists. Is because one of the writers was feeling kinky, and wanted to see Sandy without her fur.
"You don't need to go to any balls--because you're already acting nutty."
Ayyyyyyyy... whaa?
Anyone else seeing Plankton in Sandy's skin walking and getting a Five Nights at Freddy's Purple Guy slowly decomposing per episode feel?
I think the reason that sandy can like remove her fur is maybe a call back to the hibernation episode in the first season with the Pinhead because I think that's the only time I can meet with her fur shedding
I'm pretty sure that it's been discussed that pearls mother died when pearl was young, and Krabs (old as can be) adopted her
The sandy episode makes no sense to me. How the hell do you take your fur off?
+StuffZ That's a great question.
StuffZ And her bra stays on somehow, what?!
Her hair never grew back from survival of the idiots is my theory
Its a cartoon
Jacob Robert so she just wears a fur suit?
I just got done watching an hours worth of Hamliton animatics in one video, and now an hour long video of Spongebob. Perfect.
i think you should of included imation krabs cause it was the first episode that started this trend.
+Relic Al_Lattè The video would have been much longer
Do a separate video! Well, if you want to.
I’d like an imitation crab video!
You know a video is gonna be good when it’s about spongebob and it’s over an hour long
Pearl is now Meg
+ShadowTheSoulless Oh god. lol.
This is late but which meg ? Older seasons or new seasons
"Mr Krabs will marry someone even though they only want his formula" can be taken multiple ways
I know you won't want to do long episodes for a while (and I don't blame you. It's hard) but I really enjoyed this one and it didn't even feel like an hour! Your points are coherent, your opinions make sense, and your flow is perfect from one section to the next. 10/10 fam :-)
+Lil' Lolita Thank you. ^^
The only reason i can think of for sandy having a fur suit is because spongebob and Patrick shaved off her fur for warmth and it never grew back? Or maybe someone was high, could be a lot of things.
13:53 well compared to the other characters plankton is a genius
Doug Lawrence's live thoughts being fed to Viacom! LOL!
“His reaction while walking down the stairs wet was priceless”
-AlphaJay
19:49 I know this is a minor nitpick but didn't you mean "Someone locked her IN her own bathroom?
Plankton is by far one of my favorite characters in cartoons. His determination is unmatched, he wakes up every morning knowing he is going to fail. Yet he always gives it his best shot, he will continue to try despite knowing that he will fail It inspires me so much.
24:24-24:29 Does this scene remind you of that one scene in the Sonic movie trailer?
bro how tf did no one notice plankton in Sandy's fur. she's not wearing somthing to protect her from breathing??? how would somone not point that out??
How is it that both you and Mr.Enter have your 49th episode be Spongebob related?
+MegaAnimazing That's some great trivia there.
I'm sorry but I just can't let this joke go at 31:06 I was cracking up on this one. You deserve more credit than you get because of the effort that you put into your quality content good jokes, solid unbiased reviews, and just good *quality* content. You h give me some hope for youtube again tbh
49:30 That line was impyling that Sandy was gonna come to the Krusty Krab to ask Spongebob for help.
"Act your age, not your height"
Im going to use that one day
What about imitation krabbs? That was the original and it was good
To be fair: Sandy doesnt need to worry about people entering the bathroom she's the only airbreather around.
...But the presence of a lock the other way is quite confusing.
Mr. Krabs also can breath with air
Commenting to help the channel. #endtheyoutubemonopoly
I’ve been watching these vids for over 6 hours
1 hour of jay laying In bed in the morning
+Singing lover Laying in my den* Thank you very much.
