Eubank Jr just came into boxing and messed up all the hard fighting reputation of legend Eubank senior. Eubank jr should have followed a different career perhaps go to Cambridge University and studied rocket science or banking and be a top hedge fund guru. jr has just squeezed himself into a tiny boxing box. Fighting not even for belts but for inter-family trophy against Conor Ben .

British boxing looks in such a bad state at the moment. With Eddie & Frank just acting like brasses, desperate for that Middle Eastern money, looking for an exclusive deal with Saudi, when will big fights happen in the UK? If we do finally get Fury v AJ, it certainly won't happen in England. Which big stars/champions do we potentially have coming through outside potentially Ben Whittaker? The current crop of British boxers are pretty poor. Outside Fury/AJ, there is only really Eubank Jr. & Benn who could claim to be crossover names or on the world level. Josh Taylor can still get back, but he has looked a shadow of himself since he left Shane McGuigan. Britsh boxing is dying, just limply going away. The big fights (any possible) need to happen now more than ever, but they shouldn't be stupid fights, like Eubank Jr v Benn is. It shouldn't take Brook coming back (over the hill that he is) or Billy Joe to save British boxing by them having the big, world level standard fights. Fighters like Chris Billam-Smith (although seems a top bloke) is terrible & nowhere near a legitimate world level, true world champion. Buatsi has never lived up to promise. In fact, the sooner Ben Shalom & Boxxer get taken off Sky Sports, the better for all GB fight fans. Those cards are just woeful. British boxing needs a wake up & needs it fast.

Benn is small, I don't think he would be too good at 168lbs, but, it was him who failed the test, so if he wants the fight, then I suppose he should accept whatever weight Junior wants it at. Before the 1st fight was cancelled, Junior did look awful at the weight, I can't remember what weight that was at, below 160lbs wasn't it?
