Brought back some great memories. I grew up hunting, fishing and camping all along the Withlacoochee River in and around Richloam and the Green Swamp areas. It’s still wild and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I love the Green Swamp! I spent two nights at High Bluff last year and had a great time.

One of my favorite places to be, I go there often...great cinematography and soundtrack on this video too!....I always try to avoid disturbing the spider webs I come across on the trails too...that spider spent a lot of time and hard work to make that web and I respect that. I have heard that Devil's creek can be a rough crossing sometimes nice to have a bridge there now.

Beautiful trail. I need to do that one. I love that you can camp! Golden weavers. I thought they were poisonous because of the colors until I looked them up. I went to a tall in Sebring and started walking a boardwalk and almost walked into a canopy of them. I just knew I was dead. 😅

Glad you did this! I’ve been thinking about doing this trail but there’s not a lot of YT videos on it, at least as far as backpacking goes.
