I don't understand how Buzzo and Dale, with all the ridiculous time signatures and intricate stops and starts in ALL of their music, how they remember all the songs. Mindblowingly impressive.
benjamay ...and always making new shit, on top of that! It’s why I love them live! I’ve seen em 30ish times since ‘96 and this is probably my favorite tour (BR not ATX). True dat! Cheers
15:46 has to be the first real Melvins fuckup I ever saw and I've watched a trillion bootlegs and attended 15 shows. Crover even tries to pick it back up with the fill he missed but everyone's checked out. Buzz says fuck it and into worm Farm Waltz. Long live these fuckers man.
PRETTY SMOOVE BOWED STRING BASS AND DRUMS.... Thanks guys, for decades of being sooooo wrong in all the right ways , buzzo's hair is reet-zeet, it's getting good in the back.
They are in the record books for this, and rightfully so. One thing that doesen't go on record as much is that they warmed up for this tour by doing an east to west tour of Canada, which, although having fewer dates, is almost as strategically difficult.
Three years late, but I believe it's a custom head. Here's what Buzz said about it at the time: "The Emperor guys helped us out before our Melvins Lite tour because bassist Trevor Dunn plays standup and it was a feedback nightmare. They specifically built us a bass cabinet designed for a standup bassist. And because they’re rad dudes, they built me a matching guitar cabinet-and cases-with a 12" and a 15" speaker. And for my standard Melvins rig, I use an additional Emperor 2x15 cabinet."

set list?
You know how they say it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master something? They probably have 100,000 hours under their belts.
Worm Farm Waltz

They're too dedicated, but it still impressive for me too.
