Trevoh Chaloba is better than Axel Disasi and Benoît Badiashile combined. This guy imposes respect on you in duels and is not afraid to make contact. He makes an undeniable contribution both offensively and defensively. I'm really disappointed with this decision for him.

Yes that was very good to see indeed. Also that he tried a lot of tactical setup for many of the players on this pre-season. He tried James to invert. Absolutely didn't work and tried different solutions. I think in the future we will see James overlapping when Palmer plays.
If we are going to point out what Mudryk does wrong, then let's also point out what is good. 5:20 Mudryk was excellent in this play, deceiving his rivals with his body movement. He was already thinking about making that pass, which speaks volumes about the improvement in his decision making.

Last season we saw how he was terrible at closing down and kept ball watching but this on another level. We need to see Veiga as the starter, both Colwill and Badiashile are terrible and costing us the games. Oh and Marc Guiu needs to stay. We need to create chances for him more. Madueke seems ready for regular first team action at RW. Consistently beating players and getting in good crosses. Guiu has shown good positioning. Nkuku & Palmer are undisputable gamechangers. Mudryk was so busy & sharp since coming on. Loved his decisions. Fast & clever. Hope he keeps improving his tactical game, positioning and finishing. He got everything else in spades. He's very raw. But if he's confident & in form. He creates havoc for defenses. Didn't see much of Nicolas Jackson in preseason, but I wish he plays a little direct and quick when playing centrally. He can still turn out to be a highly effective striker.
Fofana is absolutely honking. To think we have binned chalobah for a guy thats spent the best part of 2yrs out injured and will not put in a tackle or put his body on the line like a centre half should be prepared to do is absolutely baffling. Clueless owners

That's a VERY avoidable goal.
Madueke seems ready for regular first team action at RW. Consistently beating players and getting in good crosses. Guiu has shown good positioning. Nkuku & Palmer are undisputable gamechangers. Mudryk was so busy & sharp since coming on. Loved his decisions. Fast & clever. Hope he keeps improving his tactical game, positioning and finishing. He got everything else in spades. He's very raw. But if he's confident & in form. He creates havoc for defenses. Didn't see much of Nicolas Jackson in preseason, but I wish he plays a little direct and quick when playing centrally. He can still turn out to be a highly effective striker.
As usual we needed the mentality from Palmer, the directors don't see that the defense is pathetic

Forfana, disasi, colwill and badashielle, are the worst defenders in Chelsea history, and we have them altogether for the new season. Chelsea finish 8th at best and win nothing. And just think of the players we sold and are selling such as Ake, tomori, chalobah just to name a few
