I find its a great way to learn new things. Pushes you to get out of your routine. I learned a bunch of new stuff that i cant wait to impliment into my own music. And I feel like I know flumes producton style a little more now :) I actually watched a doco on Avicii and he said he remade thousands of songs until he was good enough to make his own. Pretty powerful stuff 👍
To quote a part of a TH-cam video called "Everything is a Remix Remastered (2015 HD)": "And Hunter S Thompson retyped The Great Gatsby, just to get the feel of writing a great novel, nobody starts out original, we need copying to build a foundation of knowledge and understanding, and after that things can get interesting."
Haha dude it was so fun! Hearing it all come together was super exciting. Then you get that feeling when its sounding fire... Best feeling in the world
I think he could export this, put it through the ringer during mastering, and get some similar oomph. This is very good, but I'll admit it's missing that fluttery bass that tickles your ears lmao
Why remake something tho?

@@CompetitiveWormsArmageddon that's it brother. We all stand on the shoulders of those we are inspired by
The voice of someone who's never used a DAW.
Why not?
This is one of the best remakes I've heard. Solid work on this
Thank you brother! Much appreciated
Pretty damn close, I can only imagine how fun this was to curate.

Such a good job dude. CPU is pumping !
nice job i would argue that it is more difficult to remake something this accurately than it was to make the original
Thanks man for some reason this one just fell together nicely
This GOOOLLDDD
Thanks man! I'm stoked how it came out!
surely Madeon is next hehe....old complextro madeon or newer madeon, both would be awesome
Yeah ya did Fabs! 😍
Haha I'm pretty fricken happy sully!
Dude great shit... Where did you find the vocal stems?
Just searched for Flume acapella in TH-cam then ripped them lol. And thanks for the props man 👊
@@OffTheBeatMusic thank you, i been still listening to your remake cuz its dope lol
Amazing!
Thanks Joel!
Except the kicks being a bit too loud/sounding a bit different, this is almost perfect great job dude
Thanks bro appreciated!
WOOOOOOOO
but the original word isnt messed up tho...
The original word? I'm confused haha
@@OffTheBeatMusic they're just referring this being the clean Acapella. "Messed up" instead of "fucked up."
@@rairie1967 oh yep! got it! Yeah the vocals are removed from the original using RX8 I think
@@OffTheBeatMusic isn't the original word "now I fucked up "
I remade "Bad Guy" once.... this is much much cooler and far more impressive though
I'd love to hear it!
What daw is this?
The bestest DAW in the world... Ableton 11 my man 👍
Doesn't have the same oomph to it
only flume can do that

Geez, tuff crowd here.
