  • A wet scrubber is a kind of industrial waste gas disposal machine.
The wet scrubber mainly deals with acid and alkali waste gases, and it is a packed bed scrubber in which gas and liquid are counter-flushed.
When the gas enters the scrubber tangentially from the air inlet at the down of the scrubber body, under the power of the fan, it quickly fills the space of the air inlet section, and then evenly rises into the filler layer.
On the surface of the packing, acid gases or alkaline gas undergo an acid-base neutralization reaction with the chemicals in the liquid.
The soluble substances generated by the reaction will flow into the water tank with the absorbing liquid.
Untreated gas continues to rise into the up spray layer.
In the spray layer, the liquid is sprayed out at a high speed from the evenly distributed nozzles, forming numerous fine droplets that are fully mixed with the gas, contacted, and continue to undergo chemical reactions.
Generally, our company Xicheng will use the form of a two-layer spray to complete this process to ensure that the exhaust gas can be fully reacted as much as possible.
The top part of the gas scrubber is the mist removal section, where the liquid mist entrained in the gas is removed, and the treated clean air is discharged into the atmosphere from the exhaust duct via the upper end of the scrubber.
