@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids I 100% agree! I’ve been growing this way since 2016, I’ve learned a lot and made mistakes but you can see how happy the plants are ☺️
😍😍 hi ❤ 2 spikes, leaf and roots... my my my schilleriana! Thats fantastic 👏 so good to see your collection. Thank you for carving some time out of your busy schedule 🥰
So very happy to see you!! I have 7 Phals that I have converted to water culture this past spring and summer! They are all doing well AND 4 of them have spikes!! I'm so excited and it's all because of you!! ❤️
❤️🥰 I'm now in the process of converting my 87 yr. Old Mother's 3 Phals to water culture since mine are doing so well!! Thanks again!! Merry Christmas!
Hello Sharon! Yes! Knightley just turned a year old, I will try to include him in a video soon and I want you guys to meet the new kittens too. They are so sweet 💙
The Rustic Canyon appears to be correct for that cultivar. The petals are darker than the sepals and darkest toward the tip, which is how it should look. I ordered a flask of a summer blooming Phal cross that will get to me sometime in January. If they do well out of flask, I'm planning on spreading them around so I don't have to grow them all but can still see how they bloom out. If you're interested, I can mark you down to get one or two perhaps as early as this summer.
I guess the picture I saw was incorrect then, it was the same dark pink on the petals and sepals. But I like it this color better though so I’m not mad about it that’s for sure! 😊 Ooohhhh yes very interested in the Phal, thank you so much for thinking of me 🤗
Finished watching & wow ur orchids are all happy. Glad to see that. Thanks for being back & I look forward to seeing all those phals blooming. It will be something. Merry Christmas. Stay well & be happy. (in this crazy world)
Glad the Ping is working for you! Soon it would be in bloom all the time. I have three Tolmnias… smallest one is in spike but the other two…. Growing SUPER crazy, I had them for over 5 years… and yet have not bloomed. I got them as no ID so I don’t even know what they look like in bloom. 😅
Yeah I’m puzzled by that one tolumnia, in my experience if it has a good root system and plenty of light it should bloom 🤔 It was a gift from someone so no tag, so I won’t know until it blooms what it looks like. My tolumnias never bloomed at my old house and honestly I almost gave up on them. But I spray them every other day with water and they get much better light, so now they are finally starting to bloom with some regularity. I think most people struggle to make their tolumnias happy and then keep them that way 😁
So good to see a video from you! Can't wait to see all those blooms in spring, Danielle! Take care and stay safe!
Thank you Eileen! I’ve been wanting to post for so long, getting “snowed in” gave me the time. Thanks for sticking around while I was busy. 🤗
So exciting to have you back and to watch how beautifully your orchids are doing!!! So many spikes to look forward to and those roots !!!!
Yes! The roots are amazing, and I have several plants that have completely outgrown their containers.
@@daniellesorchidranch1591 Who says orchids cannot grow well in water culture does not understand them 😃
