They clearly draw from the classics with obvious influences from Thursday, glassjaw, blood brothers, at the drive in, botch, underoath, saosin, etc… not necessarily what I think of as “rawr mallcore”. They wear their influences on their sleeve and it’s honestly refreshing to have an old school sound in todays scene. You probably didn’t grow up with those bands
