This is the only fully translated hitler speech other than the one at the sportsplatz on September 30 1942 that I have been able to find even though at 66 I have studied the war all my life. I believe they are not made available intentionally.

Look up Complete Hitler on libgen. One book has every speech from 1932-45. Video existing for all of them with English subtitles is unlikely. The book is over 3000 pages long. That's a lot of speeches, but it's not like the content was lost to history.

The high pitched, inspiring, enthusiastic, orations that Hitler was known for was gone by this time. His voice sounds weary, defeated, exhausted and monotonous, he is probably well aware the end is near.

This is actually a perfect example of Hitler's "natural voice". it's not exactly 1:1 with his private conversation with Mannerheim, but you can very clearly tell that he realized that there was no point with bombastics anymore. (he didn't have it in him anyway).

Yes. He's right only if you have the most retarted possible understanding of "Bolshevism," and think it means purple hair dye or something. England is capitalist, and along with the US won the cold war. Hitler was wrong - the Western allies were able to defeat communism while maintaining their liberal democracies.

At this point in the war, the western Allies were pushing through Belgium and Poland had fallen to the Red Army. It's surreal to hear Hitler speak so casually with the Reich collapsing around him. He only lived for 3 months after this speech!

That's half-true. He has, as in this speech, mentioned "The Almighty" but this is in stark contrast to some of his previous statements in years prior such as his criticism of the Church in Germany, clergy, etc. His public opinions on religion were much different than his private views (as recorded by Martin Bormann and Joseph Goebbels)

That's how all his speeches and proclamations went as the war turned sour. He was too arrogant to acknowledge his own mistakes, and he was obsessed with delusions. Not giving the negatives that reality brought about helped strengthen those delusions, which is what he wanted. He never visited a bombed-out city out of cowardice and a vehement refusal to take responsibility for his actions.

Everything he dreamed of was shattered into pieces, and you can hear it in his voice. From the moment this was recorded, he was going through a personal horror that must have been unimaginable to him. The fact that he suffered is a detail that warms the soul, but at what cost... Glory to all the innocent people who directly or indirectly suffered because of this amoral and disturbed man!

His voice sounds wooden, his words are pathetic and mostly a repetition of his last few speeches. Listeners mostly scoffed, comparing it to a broken record. Goebbels thought it made a big impact.
