Nice editing detail for that Marisa match near the beginning that I noticed. The music used is Mitsuru's theme from P4 Arena. Marisa is voiced by Allegra Clark, also the new voice of Mitsuru for Persona 3 Reload. Just a neat little detail I noticed.

i think tournaments like this would be better for local scenes. the double elim bracket sucks so hard when you take a trip to a local, pay entry fee, get some water and food. lose 2 games and your sidelined for hours while all set ups are used for the people still in tourney. its a big reason i stopped going, we have to spend to money to lose? its not a rewarding system for people who arent progressing in bracket yet

What do you mean "follow-ups"? If you could elaborate, I could try to help.

Street fighter will hurt your hands until you practice enough it's like second nature at that point

Well, idom is the best Manon in the world for what that's wroth.
The super inputs are hella sensitive in this game, easy to get accidental super. Very awkward.
My caveman brain doesnt understand this format. Is it the best record or the most wins that moves on? Is it round wins (like round robin) or match wins.
I'd guess best record and not round wins, but like ranked so winning more is better than like just winning a few times and not playing again
Think of it like a point system. Every person is worth x amount of points to begin with and depending on who you lost to or beat, your point value goes up or down.
So the dude who has less losses is typically going to be worth more points, thus you could have more wins but if all the opponents you beat have low point values cause they are losing their matches, you could still lose.
@MasterFaiyn ah so basically the "toughness of schedule" value in the NFL tie breakers.
@@twoshirts1842 I'm not super familiar but it sounds like that's predicting the difficulty of your opponents for the season. Kind of doing the same thing just from a different angle.
With that said, one thing to note is that I don't think they have it ironed out quite as concrete as I explained above.
I think they just go by wins and then if there are any ties they start trying to calculate points. Something like that.
