Hey chrome! Just wanted to leave a quick comment. I have been out of work for a bit, enrolled back in school and doing online classes. I’m 41 years young and life right now, while I am incredibly thankful, has been pretty challenging. Ended up having the worst panic attack I ever had last night and when I saw you posted a new video, bro, the videos it help escape the stresses of my life. I felt better after watching today’s video. You’ve definitely inspired me to do the things I want to do and live the life that I want to live. Much like many others, I truly appreciate you and the content you make! ✌🏼
You’re too kind! Seeing all the wonderful comments from his great subscribers shows what great people he has following him! And how wonderful it was to share this experience with Chrome & you guys/gals
@@adamleckie8582 Yes! All of you seem VERY nice and SO hospitable! I actually had a tear in my eye when you gave Chrome those gifts. VERY NICE, Sir! 💚💛💜🖤❤
Yes Chrome, You do need zip up jackets like those in your merch! Hoodies are to hot for a lot of us down here in the US. And for us ladies, they mess up our hair when you have to pull them off over our head!
The guy said "its cold this morning"....it's in the 100s here in Florida USA 🤯 I'd love to wear a sweatshirt right now. Zip hoodies are nice so you can layer if you need to.
You having fun during your trip means I have fun! Thanks Chrome. I'm lovin it. You're right, who needs an oven?? Have fun, be safe and love to little cruzzie!
Hiya! If you use the lodge pan as the bottom the pan holds the heat like an oven and you can use the thinner pan on top as the lid and you won’t have to flip them. That way you won’t burn the bottom of the food. Cast iron is the way to go when you’re trying to “bake” foods.
Chrome, ger a small round wire grid with feet that fits inside that skillet and you can bake small things like that so much easier. Lifts the buns off the bottom so you can keep the heat on, and takes very little space.
Zip ups allow for easier layering without having to pull a hoodie up and over the head. Start by unzipping then taking off if needed. Get one up on the store please!!
Loved 💕those cinnamon rolls you made, and how cute was Cruzie napping 💤 with the dragonfly on top of him napping 💤 as well! 💕Take care and enjoy your travels! Until the next one…💕
You catch the cutest moments of CRUZEEE😊! His dragonfly friend on his shoulder 😴❤! OH you got the best Hospitality from some awesome very giving people 👏💯🙌!!
Years ago my inlaws took my daughter and nephew to Canada with no planned destination and return home time / date home. My daughter was 7, nephew was 10 or around there. I had several friends tell me that was crazy. Guess it wasn't. My daughter is now in her mid 30's she have never said no to a travel adventure..so proud of her. Thank you for sharing
The best trips I’ve ever had were the ones with no itinerary just a general direction with no timeline! It’s awesome that you take us along on your travels!
Just commenting on your comment...... I was also in Nova Scotia 2 years ago. I don't think I had discovered your channel yet, though, so our paths may have crossed and didn't even know it! I am currently in northwestern Montana (from Arizona). I have also been to Alberta and British Columbia in 2019. Would love to go back! I really enjoy your "back country" videos! Thank you!
On your way back from the Yukon you MUST visit Atlin, BC. It is a 100km stretch from the Yukon into BC and you have only one way in and out. It is EPIC!!!
Hi 😎&🐶; What a fun adventure you had with your new friends 🙂They were simply wonderful, Hospitable & generous! How lucky for you that you met them🙂 Great Video 🤗👍; Thank You For Sharing! ❤️🫂,😎&🐶; SEE You Soon 🙂
My goodness - seeing you at the signs brought back a lot to me. I've watched you for years, and remember when you were there before. Be safe, my friend.
@@dallastrujillo7540 I’ve lived all my life in The PNW (Oregon) and I agree! It’s been so, so gross. I definitely enjoy a sunny day but it’s been way too hot and way too humid. It makes being outside unbearable. Let alone actually doing anything outside.
Those purple flowers usually grow after a forest fire that's why they are called Fire Weed. They are very beautiful ❤. If you put zip up hoodies in your online store I would buy one. I am a old lady and need zip ups.
The sign post forest was very cool. The green rig was pretty cool too! Too bad you didn’t get a tour of it. Jeffie bear knows you’re watching him, cuz he’s watching you, watching him. Haha cinnamon buns yum! 😋 awe! tha dragon fly chillin with Cruzie!❤ Emi gets great wildlife captures! ✌️✌️
The purple flowers are fireweed, which got its name because it’s one of the first plants to appear in disturbed areas such as those destroyed by forest fires.
What an awesome adventure through those mountains. The views were insane. There are amazing people out there. Thanks for bringing it to us. I'm owtriding...
The ingenuity with the cinnamon buns was impressive. Just goes to show you can do almost anything while living in a van! Thanks for taking us with you in your travels 😁
When I was 10 we moved from Alaska to Washington and we stopped at the sign post forest. It looked nothing like that when we went there. So cool to see that again. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
The purple flowers are fireweed. It’s always actually one of the first items to grow in a burn area. The old wives tale is there is a way to tell when winter is coming here in the north. When the flower reaches the top of the stalk there is 6 weeks left until the first snow.
Those indications are the result of long observation. Where we are, the teaching if you wait to plant in the spring until the oak leaves are the size of squirrels ears, you won't be hit with frost. It works.
@@victoriabaker4400 oak leaves? No oak trees anywhere around here. 😊. But yes I know what you mean. It’s always interesting to see how these age old adages hold up. Much like the guidance in the Farmers Almanac.
@AngieMiddleton Very much so. The Almanac uses many such wisdoms, among other types of information, to do their predictions. What we were trained to scoff at actually is a type of science, the science of observation over time.
Good morning Chrome. You made me laugh when you tried to open the rolls. After you peel the wrapper, just hit the package on the edge of the table, and it pops. Then just twist to open. They looked delicious when done. We're enjoying all the beautiful scenery you share. IT's the only way we'll ever see those places. Happy travels.
Wouldn't it be great to have such a great close knit family that works hard for each other. Have seen the sign post forest on a bunch of channels recently. When do you think you will get into Alaska?
Love the video Chrome, wish I knew when you’d be up in Watson Lake, I’d have you stop by my sisters and brother in laws place for dinner or something. They also have horses you could have ride. Next time buddy.
Chrome I've had two new ATV's and loved riding them. Each time I sold them I hated it but it's getting more and more difficult here in upstate NY trying to find places where you can ride. For me, I literally would have to drive several hours to the western part of the state just to ride. Now that I'm doing my own conversion on my 2021 Chevy Express, I look forward to getting out there more and, who knows, maybe I'll get another quad too! Stay safe - awesome subs to invite you & Cruz to share in those adventures!
Great video! Those beautiful purple flowers you love so much (I do, too) are Chamaenerion angustifolium, they're called Fireweed because they're one of the first things to come back after a fire (or other disturbance).
Chrome, are you considering getting a dashcam? Huge security/insurance plus for your home, plus it records nonstop as you drive. Perfect for those moments where you can't hit record fast enough.
When I was in Alaska many years ago, I was told that those flowers are called Fire Weed because they're the first things to grow after a fire. Not sure if that's true, but it sounds good!
Like you I dont like planning my trip and like you I miss so much stuff. Now I tried to do a little bit of research, ask on facebook to have « real people » advice on the area and I do geocaching. Geocaching lead me to super nice places off the beaten « touristy » path
I had similar sparse wildlife experiences up there this year. Two years back I did the Northern Loop and saw all kinds of wildlife over a few days, but this past May I saw nine bears and one caribou, but all in one day. I saw one deer in the other 15 days, and nothing else besides birds & squirrels.
what's up weirdos!!! can't wait to see the beast on the road. I wonder if I can find that model in the States but your build is going to wicked (as you say)

YES for a zip up!! I can no longer stand the way a hoodie feels around my neck. I love hooded sweatshirts though so zip up is my new favorite.
Omg I was thinking the same thing!!😊
Love the dragonfly on Cruz, what a sweet image! Smart baking! Beautiful country! So glad you got past the fires.
