Sato and Hashimoto, what a fantastic pair, the best in the world now in doubles competition. I have been following these two girls this year in both their singles and doubles events and neither of them have disappointed. Choppers/defenders are making a comeback for sure!
Yet another great performance. This tournament has seen their best ever joint attacking display. Previously I thought that was their weakness, both in singles and doubles. Too often they let attackers get away with weak pushes. But this time they were deadly. Simply for the range of movement and agility shown in frequently switching from defence to attack, this tournament win was richly deserved. Do it again please.
An absolutely deserved victory - congratulations to the ladies with the great chemistry of Sato and Hashimoto 🙌 By far the best team of the tournament for me and my new favorite team 🤩 Hopefully from now on “chopping” will no longer be so underestimated as a Playing Style 💪
It seems choppers may be better prepared for double games than single games as they can cover each other and provide more time and space to respond to attacks
@@riemikes The Chinese women are weak against top choppers and anti-spin rubber players like the Indian women. They should practice more especially in doubles play against defenders.
