As curiosity goes. How many people watching care about seeing Dag open and close the doors on the vehicles? I'm enjoying this new realistic series but the door things seems unnecessary. and would be just annoying for Dag to keep doing. I'd scrape the door opening rule but thats just me.
Agree
I think watching him try to aim at the X is worse than not opening the doors
Takes up 2 mins every ep
I actually like seeing him opening doors. In real life you also not get in and out of a car or tractor without opening a door. So i like that it’s like real life. Makes it more imersive.
@@psychic2you I would be ok if he scrapped this rule. But at least he makes it more useable by leaving the door open when he's coming right back the way you would in rl
You should buy a claas double rotor as they are the most common in Northern Ireland. I live a mile away from fairhead farm irl. A baler wouldn’t be able to cope with a 4 rotor rake as it would block every 10 seconds.
Kubota is also never seen in Northern Ireland
Since you're so close to Fairhead, would you mind popping by there and asking them to widen their gates a bit?
@@msimpson3547 rarely seen. I live in County Down and I’ve seen one the odd time when the council is out to cut the green field out the back of our house
it depends on the baller and the yeild we have a claas rolant 250 and when we bale whit that we row up 4 swats but whit our vicon we row up six
Hi Daggerwin.
Im currently playing the same map and im also enjoying it.
The main reason i'm commenting is because if you look at the other side of thr building at the shop. You will notice there is a bigger entrance to get in and out of the shop.
Keep up the great content.
Reading the comments in interacting during game play is the best thing for a log time. Love it and I REALLY appreciate you showing the map while driving. It’s part of farming .!!!!!❤❤❤
Can't wait to see you trying to manoeuvre that Kubota rake around the yard. You'll be lucky to get it out of the yard at the dealership.
Seriously, it's way too big for your fields. If the Samasz rake can do a field in 10 minutes, it's easily big enough. If you're fed up with the Samasz branded version, there's an almost identical McHale rake mod which fits the field size and the map location.
While you're at it, you could take a look at some of the McHale baler mods and the Keenan feed mixer.
Absolutely hysterical that you read my comment about jump cutting, immediately after jump cutting. Genuinely laughed. Keep up the fantastic series!!
I had a good laugh to
One thing i always do on my 'hardcore' runs is buy a forklift and a telehandler for the shop yard before resetting my money to 0.
I think it is perfectly reasonable for a shopyard to have equipment for loading and unloading.
Hello daggerwin I've watched just about all of your vids I'm from Australia and I really like the series and I play the map myself. There's a couple fields up near the top right of the map that are not too expensive if you ever looking for more fields👍👍
I love the reading of the comments, such a good alternative to a time lapse! Great idea, thanks!
One of my favourite series. I'd recommend using the mod rounder wrapped bales as it gives the round silage bales a more realistic look.
We produce enamel feed Fish food chicken feed livestock feed. All our equipment is run on propane gas or electric I really would like to see more of that in FS. Anyway, we make hay without a windrower or a tedder basically we cut the grass with an electric sieve at the base we then use a spike roller and scraper that lifts it into a trailer the hay is then stored in a drying room. For that drying room we have a furnace for that we need wood, so we cut all the hedges for a fee in the area. The ash from the furnace is then used in the enamel feed Fish food chicken feed livestock feed all use ash. We don't plant our own crops ether we collect carrot tops and outer cabbage leaf, all that type of stuff for free from farmers and kitchens we also buy miss shaped potatoes from farmers that have been rejected by the supermarket. This is a 92% profitable business we are exempt from Tax.
Daggerwin, to your point about buying hay, I have another scenario where it makes sense to buy hay. I use a mod called confining cows that is a very large 200-cow feedlot style barn for beef cattle, and I have gotten to the point on Griffin Indiana that I go through so much hay that it’s much easier to buy it, load it on a semi trailer, and haul it to the feedlot than to try and make 1.7M liters of hay every year.
That’s a lot of hay
I've used stones and even silage to smooth out some bumps in difficult places to landscape. It may work in yard by your sheep pen
Just wanted to let you know absolutely love the pace of this series and as far as the realistic aspects honestly you hit them perfectly and i agree with the fact you will have helpful neighbors lol especially with a trailer to move sheep possibly even other small pieces of equipment thanks for the great content
Thanks for all the amazing content I've been watching you since the fs15 baldikino series like 8 years ago keep up the good work!
I'm sure others have mentioned it, they're all sheep - rams and ewes. Got to agree with those that said loaning/sharing of equipment between smaller farms being a thing. Very realistic
I'm just very curious at the gaming set-up of Daggerwin
Me too
me too
same plz do a vid on it
all i think hes said is its a prebuilt and he has a steering wheel
It’s my birthday today I am 16 years old today
Happy bday
Happy birthday 🎂 🚜🏴☠️
congrats, happy birthday.
Happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you guys
I don't know how you play these maps. Driving on those tights roads while pulling machinery is a talent.
Even if you brush the walls every now and then.
:P
This is what you did on fs17 Gold Coast valley playlist when fs17 first came out. Really enjoyed it
fantastic video as usual! I love the people from Ireland commenting! You really should get the loan for all the equipment at once then stretch it out in years so the payment is low. Then pay it off in large sums every harvest like most farmers do their loans. Technically most farmers don't have monthly payments.
My home country Northern Ireland! 🇬🇧
Really happy to see this series starting and can’t wait for more, just wish we could have animals in the fields
Great series, I’ve started going 1st person a lot more since this series.
Stick to soybeans and silage and you will be fine
I would also keep some chickens to have some passive income(buying the food)
I have a map where I’ve done that with only 4 fields (1 grass) and from the beans I was getting about 800k a year
The bean feild song total was about 5 hecta acres
This was on the base game map (not elm creek and not the Europe one)
Farming sim is free on the epic games store
One of the silliest things in this game is having trailers decide what can be put in them. Silage; yes. Grain; no. Huh?
You spiked the silage bales 🙈 Thanks for another great episode
For interactive controls, I'd like to see it set up like "mon bazou." You must interact with every feature, but shifting can be keyboard/gamedpad press.
It's too bad it wouldn't work, but a trailer load of fieldstone would be neat to smooth out the driveway. Dump some out, use a leveler, and make a (mostly) flat area(maybe bumpy).
You can use the lease to own mod. Lease them the price drops the more you use
I love that thees series are slow going! So much to see and i hope these series Will be 200+ episodes
Love you daggerwin❤ since the age of 5 I have been watching your videos wich was in 2015 I was 5 years old now I am age 14 still watching what is and will be always my childhood
About the silage bales and bale spike: if you would sell them in real life, they might be sold to a biogas plant, but they might also be bought by a farmer that has a silage shortage, so for cow feed. A farmer would not want to buy silage bales that are spiked, bacause he could not keep them for long. So only if you know that you would sell them to the BGA / Biogas plant, you may spike them.
hmmm.. two suspicious jump cuts there Daggerwin! Did you use super strength to adjust the trailer at 27:03 and again to move the last 2 bales? 😂 Also might be easier to reverse the trailer into the store carpark in future?
You know when we had a smaller baler irl we put our bales in our forage wagon
Keep up the great work. I love your videos
I feel like we got rick rolled during the timelapse around 9 minutes
Same
Loving this series, Loving the slow pace. More realistic in my opinion.
Growing up on a somewhat large American NW grain/cattle farm, I honestly am having a hard time wrapping my head around how much smaller some European counterparts are. Winter food wise for the cattle we get a couple field truck loads of alfalpha and straw and some grass pellets every year.
Playing on Ballyspring now and I find having a shorter bale trailer is much handier even if I have to haul an extra trip. Instead of the Kubota windrower keep that Samasz one you'll find it way handier on those roads.
I'd love to see you make little additions to the map that would make things align more with reality.
Like, for example, give yourself some money in game to buy a forklift for the equipment yard that acts as 'their' forklift you can use to load stuff onto the trailer. IRL these places would likely have ways to do those types of things.
I was suggesting a few episodes ago that you could probably use the jack hammer on that rock in the middle of field 55 then use the gravel you get from it to smoothing out some spots in the yard. 👍
At least you aren't renting a $1000 combine like before
1000 per field don't forget. That was such a terrible idea.
@@stephengarvin3308That is largely what killed that series in my opinion
On the borrowing equipment from a neighbor/friend, I know for a fact if I needed a trailer for some reason my next door neighbor would let me borrow his. Heck we let him store a couple of riding mowers in garage because there's no room in his and we have permission to use them for our lawns (and for plowing the driveways in the winter). Because we are on such good and friendly terms with him.
Awesome
Verry good video Dagwin
if terraforming does not work where that bump is, maybe you can place something over it? bridge, cement block, platform of a sort... whatever fits, there are options on modhub
Keep her lit dagger lad
You might be able to sort the DIp in your farm with the terrafarm mod
Store the hay in one of the pits out front , so you can push the wool back till the price is best
I run to the bucket usually in the morning :)
Dagger i love this series
There is a 1300.-- Rostelmash windrower. 7 meters, I believe... it's on the modhub under GVS 6U
Sell the JCB and buy a telehandler you prefer. Realistically, you wouldn't buy an articulating unit if you didn't enjoy operating it.
Hey dag live the videos I’m forever invested in your channel. You should consider selling the jcb in order to get a smaller telehandler for the farm, personally my favourite telehandler to use is the merlo mod it would be a great addition to your farm.
You had made me want to play more realestic on the same map your on
I am a big fan of you
you could do more 3rd person shots by using a 'drone'. That would keep it realistic and give you the ability to do more 'cinematic' type shots.
You should consider the mod "more rounder bales" The wrapped bales look too unrealistic with the straight edges. Its a mod i cant play without :D
Have you got the paint and terraform anywhere mod ? It might allow you to level the yard.
Watching from 🇮🇪
The lease to own mod is fantastic for try to play super realistic
Hi Daggerwin oh by the way your awesome. U should be Mr. plough and clean the snow way for another farmers
did we all just get Rick Rolled on that first time lapse? lol
Hey Dagger , I think because of the tight yard , a suggestion would be good to sale the JCB and get something smaller
I was watching a Farming Sim SWU video and he said he's a big fan
Will there be survival roleplay tomorrow dag
Where I live it’s a $615 fine for touching your cellphone while driving, my wife has a magnet hold that the phone fell off of at a red light so she picked it up and put it back on and then saw an undercover cop that was next to her roll down their window and proceeded to give her a ticket
5:44 you should ‘ask’ you’re neighbour’s for a loan of there combine
It’s my opinion that not sorting that dip is a BUG and thus use of map editor to fix it is allowed.
Rounder bales mod for nicer looking bales.
Is it possible to leave something behind the blue car at the store so it moves the spawn point across?
Monotonous all this grasswork
there is two rotor kenervalend rake in the mods and it is a very good mod to have because i had the same problem with useing the same rake over and over and again!
There seems to be another entrance/ exit at the store between the two "houses", I'm not sure if it's better or worse.
nice work
I don't know how europe farms in tight fields... I'm from illinois. Flatlanders is the nickname for the state.
ITS THE LIVESTOCK TRAILER FROM FARM SIM 17 ROLEPLAY
Daggerwin comes a wrapster lol 🤣
Daggerwin I’m beginning to think that you have forgotten about the silage bales in the other field.
moss valley letsplay ?
High @daggerwin I just wanted to ask what is the name of the mod where the tractor automatically slows down when baling.
Perhaps your neighbour could be virtual daggerwin I really miss him and perhaps he can have his nice and not so nice days
When I worked on a stock yard we called where you are feeding the animals Feed ally
I reckon you should swap the John deer you have got already and maybe swap it for a 7530instead
Hi tis taks me back to FS15
9:30 Did we just get Poundland rick-rolled?
If you puncher a silage bales and then sell them it will devalue them
sometimes we buy bales and they cost about 15€ a pop and if we get lucky we get them for free
When I lend one of my trailers to someone, it always comes back with a new dent in the fender or the break light dangling off of it. Is there a mod for that😅
I think i saw another entrance to the shop it doesnt look bigger tho
this map reminds me of marwell manor farm
If your gonna get cows, can you then install the mod where they can walk in and outside?
was i the only one who heard "Never gonna give you us" when he started to Windrow the field?
Do not put in corn and olives as they are not grown in northern Ireland
can i say in think you should get a loader please it would be much better an a dip in the yard like that is kind of normal and i know my grandad and uncle are farmers + i work with them
Do you play on xboxone
Did I miss what happened to the winter wheat?
is this episode 9 or 10 because last vid was episode 9
In real life i don't need hay bales but i do buy straw bales for my chickens bedding an they cost $6.
I’d love a shoutout daggerwin
