Blows my mind that a large majority of these really great singers are singing in their SECOND language!!!! What talent!
For some it may even be a 3rd. Have you caught any of the voice kids? A majority that I’ve seen sing in a language that is not their native language. I saw a little kid (8 or younger) perform a rap song in a foreign language. And from what I could hear got the words right.

They are catering to what would be their largest audience. Americans and most of the English speaking countries spend more money on music/concerts than any other country.
Did you know that the Swedish group ABBA couldn’t speak one word in English? Yet they were great a spectacular singing group who sang in English
I don’t find it surprising at all. Most European countries require their students to learn one, if not two other languages besides their native tongue. I am reminded of that old joke… What do you call a person who speaks three languages… Trilingual. What do you call a person who speaks two languages… Bilingual. What do you call a person who speaks only one language… an American. It’s rather embarrassing and shameful.😒

I believe a lot of the issue is the audio quality makes her tones run together in this particular video. I've seen others that give the performance justice.

Every time I see one of the "Best Concert-Like Auditions" I always watch, hoping Simon Morin will be included. Never EVER get tired of him, his voice, his stage presence. Hope this appearance got him all the recognition he richly deserves.

@@MonikaCisekand with that caliber of an audition, he deserved it. That was absolutely an amazing performance of that song. Contrary to popular beliefs, Michael's voice is not that easy to copy and this man got as close as I've ever heard.

What is the most amazing is that none of these singers have music Ed, speak Ingles, or have ever seen a US dollar, yet they sing American pop-songs so well.

Never thought somebody could do a better Dream On than Tyler , but this Comier ( who?)may be the best singer ever for this particular song. He went even higher than Steven in his young years and also has the charisma to bring the anthem of the 70's to live in 2020 .It's amazing .Is there no end to the number of surprises we will still get to meet and see in the talent shows .And to think I once hated these shows .But thanks to , especially Germany and the Baltic states and , OK, Britain the shows have become legendary with truly amazing singers like Louisa Johnson , Courtney Hadwin and those two German girls whose names I've been forgotten but who gave a mindblowing cover of Creep . And the only real problem is , how will we ever remember all these stars and what happened to all of them who didn't win

Listen to the band Great Van Fleet. They are a band with I believe 3 bros and a cousin. or 2 bros, a friend and a cousin. They are from Upper Peninsula of Michigan. So their speaking voice has a Dutch accent to it. But listen to them, the lead singer, one of the bros sounds Extremely like Robert Plant. Robert Plant even did a interview about the similarities. It's a great young band. I think they are like 23-24 now.
