dchen345 they have silly things like clay shooting. Why can’t touch tennis be one? Very similar to table tennis and badminton too. Also I would enjoy watching this live or on tv.
Badminton and table tennis are both poor examples for your argument because those at the top of the game are definitely athletes. Look at the lower body physiques of the top 10 players. Touch tennis is played by NAFs. Clay shooting is dumb but that doesn't mean we should fill the Olympics with other things that are dumb.
dchen345 you misunderstand I’m not saying badminton or table tennis aren’t athletic. I was saying clay shooting isn’t athletic yet it is a Olympic sport. And that touch tennis is very similar to table tennis and badminton which are credible Olympic events.

Touchtennis is an option in Colombia. I love touchtennis. You can buy raquets, nets, balls by internet.

I like it alot, but seems like it's really hard to hit aces and that's what's missing for me. Still a very fun tennis derivative, I project it to grow in popularity with time.

touchtennis I watched it, and they are a massive hitters indeed, but their serves are almost always made contact with by the opponents racquet. It is understandable thought, the court is significantly narrower after all. Regardless, lack of aces doesn't take a lot from the game, like I said it's fun to watch and certainly play.

Players should always go to the net to volley in touch tennis. I dont know why they stay behind lines
Until you've played it, you'll probably always think that way. It's just too fast to run into the net and have time to react. Also, the ball is really difficult to put away at the net. As evidenced in this match.
Really wondering if tennis stars such as Roger or Rafa would beat the best touchtennis players at that game.
