I really enjoyed your take on some fragrances that were lighter in composition instead of the heavy hitting oud, incense and rose scents. Yep, I too love my heavy Fall/Winter fragrances, but I'm ready for some lighter Spring/Summer scents. Okay, I have Dior Homme Sport (2012), Edition Blanche and Armani Eau Pour Homme...love 'em. Today, I tried the new Dior Homme Sport 2017 version at Macy's and, surprisingly, loved it. To be honest, I don't like Dior Homme or Dior Homme Intense due to that iris/lipstick vibe...quality fragrances, but not something I'm going to wear (too feminine IMO). However, Homme Sport (aka Homme Sport 2012) was an outstanding Spring/Summer because that iris wasn't out-of-control and it wasn't too fresh or too sporty. Just a terrific suit & tie fragrance for the warmer weather. So I recently ordered two backup bottles since it has been discontinued. Shame! However, the 2017 version was stellar! It goes on much brighter and citrusy and I was wondering to myself, "This is too fresh and it feels an awful lot like Dior Homme Cologne. However, within 20-minutes it is smelling very similar to Dior Homme Sport 2012...but with a bit more freshness and citrus over the former (but 80% of the DNA). Moreover, performance was surprisingly quite good - much better than the 2012 version. It projected well and left a nice scent trail for 2-3 hours. Moreover, I got a solid 7-hours of of the 2017 version vice 5-6 for Sport 2012. Just my two-cents. Anyway, I've tried Atelier Bergamote Soleil and I plan to picked a bottle this Spring...it's excellent! Also, I would love to get a bottle of Afnan Silver In2ition but it's almost $90 for a bottle in my area - just not widely available, but Ill keep an eye on this one over the coming months.

Your description of DHS is WRONG ... in 2017.I think you forgot , or you simply don't know that Dior officially reformed DHS , pulled out of the market the version you're describing in your video , and only the new version could be found in official retalers in US and most countries in Europe , and soon all over the world.The new version shares the same DNA with 2012 formulation and it's similar .... like 60-70% , but it's NOT the same fragrance.They removed the iris and the ginger notes , and now the main player is blood orange.The 2017 formulation is much closer to the vintage one with added blood orange ,then to 2012 you're talking about in your video. Some guys could buy 2017 formulation because of your video , and be like "Wait-where is the iris....?" and so on... People should NOT blind buy the new one , if they are used to the 2012 version.Some will love it,but others won't.For like 90% of the guys Dior Homme=a lot of Iris , and there's NO iris anymore in the new sport version...at all.
Personally i like the 2017 formulation a lot , but i presume some other guys - both reviewers and regular consumers will not be too fond of it - the lack of the iris note will be a problem for some. You can do comparison "DHS vintage vs 2012 version vs 2017 version" when you get your hands on the new one.

see some fragrances u say 4 hour and gone. mr smelly, want u to shower all the time or u apply fragrances on sweat. i must sit and drink caffine about 4 to 6 hours before i can move. scent is gone only the beast now.
