Excellent reviews. Thanks. FYI I ran into low audio volume using inexpensive lav mics too. However, this was only the case for iOS and iPadOS devices. Volume was good using an Android Pixel 7a

Thanks for making this video. I wonder.... If I buy the simple wireless mic with USB-C connector than add the USB-C to Lightning adapter on top of it to be able to connect to my current iPhone Lightning port and would still have the option to use it on iPhone 15 USB-C connection in two month when the iPhone 15 lineup is available.. would you know?

I’m not sure but getting a mic with multiple connectors built in would probably be a solution that’ll be more guaranteed

I believe the Aikela has the noise reduction on by default, and to turn it off you have to like double press something on the base, NOT the mic. And without noise reduction on it sounds WAY better, and way louder. Great video! Oh, and that Rode is crap, check out the TAKSTAR SGC-600 Video Microphone, Mini Shotgun Mic, it is like $30 and sounds like a $300 Rode!

no thanks, who wants to waste more time is post fixing audio problems and still have crappy audio....just spend more and save on the hassle and headaches. also if you do post, you audio will be that much better.
