Jordan just given er with that skidder hauling a wheelie almost. That is why he has the best mods out there for logging. I wish I would of had a camera with me yesterday speaking of getting greedy with the logs. Was driving by a log yard in my area and a guy running an old loader on back of a truck unloading another truck and trailer went for too many logs and almost tipped over the loader, lol.

Love the mods. How hard would it be to do a dangle head processor or a stroke delimber. There was a tower mod in fs15 would it be hard to do a swing yarder or standard tube tower

I use the Letorneau for loading onto truck trailers with foldable sides. We use such truck trailers here where I live so those ain't that unrealistic. There's a weight limit however because of the mechanism used. A good way is to place placeable trees down and cut them at the right height to use them as a temporary storage unit. The fun part is finding 4 trees exactly the right way in a logging area already. There's a few spots in Smokey Mountain and a few in the special area there hehe. Nice vid tho
Sorry for commenting on your 4 year old comment but I work in a pretty big iron ore mine and I was just wondering.. Are you talking about the Komstsu Letorneau?😅 Because that is litterarly the world’s biggest wheel loader. (I know it’s a game but I got curious).
That happened to me and it drove me nuts the manual cut being overridden grrrrr lol..
In this video at the start, the bunks; do they turn the logs into pallets and boards?
What do you record with Streamlabs? or are you making videos using other programs I stream sometimes but i thought this would be a great way to add content!

It does t matter if I use an in game machine or one of your mods. When I pick them up like you are in this video they shack and twitch the whole time..please tell you know how to correct this problem..

Hmm! It would be nice to have FDR's skidder on console. I went back to f/s#17 to use the forestry equipment there, I'm much better and it was more enjoyable.
@Farming Fishing and Fooling around it's not that bad, I have over 42 hours on one and once you figure you the tricks it works pretty good considering it's on console with FS's not so great physics system

Is there any reason why console versions can't have the processors and grapple claw mods? Like the excavator style. Just curious. And the winch/chain for the skidders would be fantastic

What is the map called
So what would cause the back end of the skidder to pull upwards or react as if something was underneath of it? Not sure if it’s a collision issue or a general bug.
we think it might have to do with the blade, try detaching it, were trying to find a fix for the issue let me know if you find anything that works while playing around ;)
FDR Logging We will try operating it without the blade. There is another skidder from fs19.net (548L) that has a non detachable blade that seems to have the same issue. Black sheep modding has their MF320 that also has a non detachable blade and that model has no issues. We will mess around with it and see what we can find. Thank you sir.
Man, the way you play it's so realistic! I always loved forestry but I suck at loading the logs, so I just bought a trailer with autoloading option😂. Also grizzly mountain is my favourite map!

You make it look so easy I play on console so the grapples cant grab more than one log and once you fell a tree with a harvester you cant make a big pile like you can

Great video Fdr that first load was nice pay 83,000 couple of those and you got a huge wallet for machines. Tomorrow is Friday so it's a special day. One question for you Fdr I'm still having issues with the vehicles when I spirit the cab the track base spins slower in the same direction any ideas I've change all settings and even deleted all my mods and only used one and the same thing happens. Thanks for another great video I love that skidded too and let's hug a tree today

The reason he cuts the bottom of is for realism, when selling logs there is a specific dimension and taper that is allowed at the sawmill, otherwise the load will be rejected.
Why do u cut the ends of with the processor
just like real life you need to create a "first cut" so that the computer knows where to start its initial measuring spot, then it runs the log from that point to the next measuring the length for the cut, but without that first cut it won't know where to start

Skidding
Just an idea for the next map: an train that drives through the map and also passes the mill that way its faster to transport cause you don't need an truck

You guys should build Hayes/Pacific logging trucks, look up Butler Brothers Mark V "Roller Skates" that truck can carry 200 tons of wood. Making that truck that's hauling the logs in the game look like a toy.
