Yes Lydia, I agree. Presenting Mango’s clothes in their store is a great idea. It shocks me a bit when I see TH-camr buy tons of clothes and then returns everything. 😮 You are doing the right thing, I thank you for that !
Well she has close to a million followers and has much higher end clothes. How much more waste can one generate! 🤷🏻♀️
I actually saw another TH-camr say that stores now start to blacklist people who order too much stuff and then return it.
I really like that you don't do hauls, Lydia. It's a much more sustainable way to inspire us, to try on in shop or highlight your faves on brand websites. Thank you for not glamorising over-consumption with vapid unboxing videos like so many of your fellow influencers.
It really helps when you show them on you. The models don’t really give a good idea for how items actually look. Also you can tell us genuinely the quality etc. Thank you❤ 🙏🏻
I think filming the try-ons in store instead of ordering and returning is such a great idea! Just highlighting and linking to your fave pieces from the website is already helpful, but it's great to see the pieces tried on, and it being in the store doesn't take anything away from its value 😊

I love how curated your wardrobe is! My favorite piece is the lyocell & cotton white shirt. I prefer softer fabrics with a bit of drape to them, which can be challenging to find. The entire haul is classy and versatile. Thank you, Lydia!
Every thing is so nice.. I bought two white shirts this week. One from Liz Claiborne and a cheaper version from Wal-Mart. Slowly I'm taking g notes and learning wht I should buy and not buy. Thank you so much for this videos they are very helpful.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to not be wasteful, like ordering a lot of items and then returning them. But actually I think it’s acceptable with TH-camrs and influencers: you have almost one million subscribers (yay!) and you are doing a valuable service to the brand! The least they can do is pay for the shipping! 😅 and a valuable service for all your viewers also.
I would love a review of Sezane, a capsule wardrobe: they are more expensive pieces.

Mango fitting is better than Zaras
Depends. I would say that Zara is for taller women, I judge by the length of their trousers
I’m glad that Zara now gives the actual garment measurement by size on-line.
I’m tall and I love Zara pants for the length.
@@eurithibou im the opposite: short and curvy. No zara pants fits me. Waist too large, the hanger has no curvature. Patterns done to save material. Even the blazers, they dont have enough chest clamp. Zara clithes are made to skinny girls or men. People with no curves can wear it. In fact there are some patterns that seem to be made just in 2 dimensions... As people dont have 3 dimensions. Fitting is really very bad. Althoug they have made some effort in the last year or so to amend it.

Could you suggest foundation wear for items like the one-shoulder dress? I love the look and would want to wear some type of bra or coverage. I feel less savvy about options in this area.

I think American women wear very beautiful dainty prints in spring and fall. They look very pretty. They are strong and confident women of course. Have you ever seen Anna Wintour, Sandra Bullock or Reese Witherspoon or Katie Holmes wearing prints? Elegant and chic!
It looks and feels good to be in sync with nature. Everything comes to life in spring. I don’t think European retailers are good at doing prints. When Lydia puts a picture of a printed blouse that’s the ugliest I have seen. But European retailers have very big and scary prints not sure why!
It does make sense to wear the black, brown, gray, charcoal and all those colors in winter and white in Summer!
But standing in a black blazer / cardigan and jeans, big gold earrings, black ballerinas and black top handle bag in front of a beautiful pink and white cherry blossom tree looks very harsh and overpowering and unsightly to me.
A soft dainty white and pastel pink floral dress with delicate white or peachy pink ballerinas looks so pretty and timeless and can wear year after year! These seasons are very fleeting so a few beautiful dresses are all one needs! American retailers are good at making those dainty and pastel prints!
I also love the relaxed vibe of wearing easy breezy dresses in Spring/ Fall in the US as compared to more rigid military style of wearing black, gray, white outfits or a solid lime green or yellow in the UK!
So loving this! I have a good white suit. So underrated and so sophisticated!

Very helpful, as always! I am wondering if your US viewers with no local Mango have had issues with orders. I recently ordered for the first time from them, 3 orders and 7 different pairs of jeans before finding one that I kept. I find the sizing very different from the US and runs quite a bit smaller. At 5'5 and 115 I don't feel I am a hard fit, other than being short-waisted. Also, it would be helpful if they ever published inseam and rise measurements, or reviews which I find helpful in hearing from others as to fit. For US orders, they use a terrible shipping company and it was very difficult to get tracking; the Mango links to track don't work, most of the time the app. doesn't work, and customer service knows but seems fine with it; things arrived really late, and looking like they had been run over, and then returns must be taken to a Federal Post office, instead of being able to print label oneself, and take to easily drop off at outlets. The most difficult part is the customer service dept. They are unavailable to answer calls, most times they were not available for chats, and when you do finally get to do one, not only are they very rude and unhelpful, but you ask a question and it takes so long for a response that it then disconnects you for inactivity. This happened a multitude of times where it almost seems intentional on their part. I looked online to see if it was just my experience, and I could not believe the number of complaints as to their customer service.Sorry for the complaints but it was just such a negative experience and I order almost every item of clothing I get, online. They could take a lesson from customer service over at And Other Stories, or Cos, who are fabulous !

Yes close to 1 million subscribers and how much waste generated and land destroyed to burn all these fast fashion clothes! Not much hope for the future generations.
@@Zan-y9l I really would not consider high street brands to be ‘fast fashion’ most people who buy from these stores keep their pieces because of the price. Not sure who’s filling up landfills with Mango, and other higher end brands. Hey, but to each his own.

What annoys me is that MANGOs items are cheaper abroad (similar with Zara) I've just seen the same stripy cotton cardi with golden buttons at spanish airport Mango for 25 Euros (£21.31) instead of £29, bags (new collection) worked out even cheaper. Luckily I travel often enough to buy abroad...
