      Thanks Gary, the grill is not bad, there meant for people who own condos and can only have an electric grill. The thermometer is definitely cool, but has a couple of limitations. That pig was the shitz for sure!

    Hello Flash. You always have interesting stuff going on. Love the "MEATER" Thermometer, love the electric broiler and roty combo. Cool. The ham was very juicy and sliced up very nice. We need to keep on lookin at BIGGS HOME COOKIN. Nice job Brodilly.

      I meant to tell you that my grandfather, Ski used to call me Flash when I was young... cause I was pretty quick on my feet. Meater worked good using another phone. The first phone is connected to the thermometer by bluetooth, good up to about 30 ft. Then the second phone hooks up to the first over your home network, good up to maybe 100 ft. Those little hams are very tasty, no bones... just nice slices. For having no video, the ham was an easy way out, heat an eat. That's why I showcased this little electric grill n rotisserie along with the Meater. Thanks Phil : )

    I love everything about this.
    The grill - your own electric home rotisserie - very nifty.
    The piece of meat. We have that here, they usually strap it in a net before the brine, and also a light smoke. We call it kassler and i have been trying to find what its called in english, now i know - thank you.
    My favourite dish is sliced, layerd with pineapple rings, covered with whipped heavy cream seasoned wit curry (my preference) or chili.
    My mother in law has another signature dish that i like, but Helenas sons refuse to eat it since they feel overfed from it.
    I also like it thinly sliced and fried with scrambled eggs :)
    Never roitisseried it - need to try that :)
    Thank you so much Christopher!

      Hey Lasse, this is just an inexpensive electric grill/rotisserie that I bought about 5 years ago that I'll use from time to time. It's good for small cylindrical pieces of meat... 3-5-7 lbs. I have been to German butchers were they have it labeled as kassler and I have seen them with the netting to hold it's shape. This one I had was brine cured, then smoked lightly. I got this at the Swiss Pork store which was in my food haul video. This piece was perfect for the rotisserie and the Meater worked perfectly. Thanks! : )

      Biggs' Home Cookin' Thats great. I really like it. Will look for something similar. Had a tabletop grill a few years ago that was like 15$ to buy. Maybe i could get one and make a toolboxe ritisserie using the spinner from the kettle hehe

      Alicia, the first phone (wife) is connected to the thermometer by bluetooth, good up to about 30 ft. Then the second phone (mine) hooks up to the first over your home network, good up to maybe 100 ft. This way I can monitor the cook from inside the house. The first phone needs to be within 30 ft of the cooker and be connected to the home network... capiche! This little ham is so good... this is the same cut that they make sweet or hot Capocollo or Coppa out of. The Italians here in NJ and NY call it Gabagool... check out the pinned link. Could you do me a favor and check out my previous video... Thanks Chris : )

      This is a tender little juicy ham Mel. I bought this one... but could brine and lightly smoke it myself. The grill/rotisserie is just a cheapo one. The Meater thermometer is great when using the rotisserie as you can not use one that is not wireless. Thanks : )

    That looks absolutely sensational. The Meater is made for Rotisserie, I'll have to snag one. Would love to see your take on Honey Roast Ham, maybe on a Weber Rotisserie. You've got a great accent btw, you could do 'voice overs'. Keep up the great content. Cheers from the UK. Hey Matthew, you've been asleep for a while...lol, but you'll have to go back about two videos on my chili upload and you'll notice the haircut, also did the food tag video : ) This cut of pork is so tender... you can make a ham or capocollo out of it and in bbq, it's referred to as the money muscle. Thanks for checking this out : )

      I wasn't going to say anything, but since you asked about my haircut. I've been struggling to keep up on all the videos, also. You have some people putting out 3-4 a week and it's beginning to be to much... I'll put up one a week and occasionally two... if I've been tagged or get something in the mail... miscellaneous things.

    • @BarlowBBQ
      @BarlowBBQ 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Biggs' Home Cookin' it definitely is hard to keep up - but I do have a (short) list of channels that I want to keep with no matter what. You are on that list. We are hoping to start putting out two videos a week when March rolls around. I’d rather leave folks wanting more than giving them too much. 😉

    • @BiggsHomeCookin
      @BiggsHomeCookin 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have that short list also. To many videos... I don't know if it will hurt your channel, but you might get tired of seeing that persons videos all the time... yes, leave them wanting more is the way to go!
