    Hello dear. A great software I came across today. Before purchasing this software is there any prior training? also, can we import an AutoCAD 3d model to this software for analysis?

      Hi, @imranzada937! It's great to hear you enjoy the Dlubal programs. If you can reach out to our sales team at info@dlubal.com, we can provide you with all training options. It's also possible to import AutoCAD models directly into RFEM 6. Take a look at the following FAQ:

    What is the limits for stress, buckling, deflection.. From the code?

      Hi, omar!
      This depends on which standard you are following for your structure design. We would suggest to refer to the relevant code based on your jurisdiction to obtain this information. This webinar was mainly designed as code-independent other than the steel members which were designed acc. to AISC 360.

    can I design a concrete silos using this software

    • @DlubalEN
      @DlubalEN  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shaikh. Yes, concrete silos can also be analyzed and designed in RFEM with a similar process. The materials can easily be swapped out for concrete. You can further use the RF-CONCRETE Surfaces modules for reinforcement design per the various standards (Eurocode, ACI, CSA, etc.). If you have any other questions, you can email us at info@dlubal.com.

    Which one standard use for silo tank fabrication

    • @DlubalEN
      @DlubalEN  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Jitendra!
      It would be best if you referred to your local jurisdiction to determine which standards are necessary for tank design. Specially for this webinar, a tank design code was not used nor is it implemented in RFEM 5. A general stress design was performed on the tank walls.

      Hi, @learnwithjeremiah6081! In the new RFEM 6, the Steel Joints Add-on can carry out connection design for silo steel members acc. to the EC or AISC standards. All connection types are possible with the automatic FE model generation under the hood with additional bolt, weld, and plate checks per the standards offered. You can learn more about this product on the following webpage.

      Hello Shaikh,
      Unfortunately, we do not have a video dedicated to RCC silo design at this time. If you are having trouble, feel free to send in your model with your questions to info@dlubal.com. We will be happy to help you further.
