Do you know where to find that information? 8. 40% earnings growth Q/Q and/or 40% sales growth Q/Q for two quarters. Technical criteria: Buy by pyramiding on the way up in clean and simple breakouts: first tranch 50%, second 30%, and last one 20%. Sell only on weakness. (at 32:00 and 37:50) Let it run on 8-day EMA, 21-day EMA and 50-day SMA. Sell gradually.

Excellent podcast. Lot of wisdom. Richard, I have an one query. When we are analysing earnings growth, do we need to analyse based on YOY quarter results for every sectors or else some sector stocks need to be analysed on Quarter over Quarter results?

Quarterly results should always be compared to the same quarter in the previous year to adjust for seasonality. 40% growth vs last year, two quarters in a row.

Accumulation = Large volume with price appreciation and greater than 50% closing range. Distribution = Large volume with price drops and lower than 50% closing range.
Richard - Pat did not mention IBD but I suppose he is using a screener in IBD to get his stock picks - do you know which service is the cheapest to get the composite ratings and the A/D ratings he mentioned. DO I need the $130 a month market smith or is there a cheaper method to get access to the screener?

Depends on the setup, but typically below the previous day's low or the breakout day's low. No more than 7% below the entry point.
