Your tiny mouse with its tiny Girl with a Pearl Earring and tiny art supplies is just so freaking adorable! Congrats!

Thank you so much! Someone said I should call it "Vermouse" like Vermeer and I thought that was so funny. I'll have to try my hand at it again and see if this cute one was just beginners luck, lol

@@kaliwallaceart oh, Vermouse is a great title!
And I'm sure it wasn't beginners luck, you're just an amazing artist. Also, just so you know I'm totally down for a series of tiny paintings by tiny animals or something. I'd love to see that

Hello , I recently watched your OCD story video and I really resonated with your story . I’m 22 years old , and a few months ago I started to have symptoms of OCD. It started off as me having stress from my new job at target , and I had extreme insomnia and couldn’t sleep. One night I had terrifying sleep paralysis , woke up with the worst migraine I’ve had in my life and from then one my life has been hell. I’m just wondering how do you have the willpower to go in with this disease ? It’s only been 4 months but the severity of my harm, sexual, relationship and existential OCD makes me want to kill my self . I can’t live like this anymore and I don’t see a way out or a willpower to go on right now

And I’m sorry In advance , I hope this comment isn’t a trigger to you or anyone else I’m just desperate for any type of help or reassurance.

@@edgarallenhoe4656 Don't underestimate the effort required, but know that it's possible to achieve control over your OCD. You will find many brave people like Kali giving their stories online which should reassure you that what you are experiencing now is only a temporary state. Say strong and seek help, you don't need to feel like this.

Couldn't have said it better than @A Q did. There are so many people that are dealing with this daily, and a lot of us are talking about it very openly now. I too remember being at a point where I couldn't sleep for days at a time, I couldn't eat, I was paralyzed by anxiety so I couldn't do anything productive yet my body would shake and I couldn't sit still because of all the adrenaline. I thought I was going to have to do something drastic to end it, but little by little I noticed it subsiding. As I learned more about other people going through the same thing and listened to their stories and advice, things started to get better. It's a slow process and it takes work, but it will happen. Avoiding triggers and seeking reassurance do damage in the long run, so try not to lean into those too much. Talk to a professional who is knowledgable on OCD (not one who just says they are and ultimately wants to do talk therapy; this doesn't work). Places like the app NOCD are a good place to start. They work with doctors who are vetted to make sure they ACTUALLY now how to treat OCD, by giving you homework after each session, testing your triggers, etc. There's also a huge community of others with OCD there. I used to work with NOCD before the pandemic started, but I'm not getting paid to recommend them now. I just genuinely think they're great.

coincidentally, I was talking about taxidermy this week because of the movie Dinner for Schmucks. Anyway, a few words trigger me, but for a few months I've been thinking "is the OCD gone?"

You know, it's really funny, after i posted this on facebook everyone was talking about Dinner fo Schmucks, but I'd never seen it. I googled it and saw some screenshots and decided i HAVE to watch it, lol. That's great that you are at that point right now! Stay vigilant and do little exposures here and there to help maintain that level. That's really wonderful.
