I remember having a Rag Doll when I was a child! My Mom talks about it all the time! She said it didn't matter what type of new doll she'd get me, I preferred the Old Rag Doll! LOL!
What a cute little doll. My mom made me a bunny when I was younger and a doll for my daughter . And it just brings back memories. Hand made dolls are a little more special. And kids appreciate and love them so much more! Especially since they are so soft and cute ! Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us. It was so relaxing and fun to watch and learn about creating these precious heirlooms 🥰🩷🤍🩷
Deanna, I really have enjoyed the doll videos. So happy you’re doing it your way. Not everything needs to be nip and tucked. lol can’t wait for the hair 💜
That’s the joy of making a Rag Doll there is no right or wrong way . When I make mine I always make sure all seams are strong . I never use buttons for eyes , embroider is best for young children . Such a cute doll!!
Another great video! I’ll never understand when people make rude comments on your videos. Try not to take them to heart. I know how sweet and giving you are and that you have a hard time with the negative comments, as I would too. It breaks my heart when you are sad. There are far more people who love and appreciate all that you offer to us. I have learned so much from you and truly look forward to each and every video! My the Lord grant you the peace to ignore the bad comments and the joy to accept all the good that you do! ❤❤❤
Great job lots of good tips. I used to make raggedy Anns and your way is so much easier especially with the embroidery. THANKs I cant wait for the hair instructions,
Do you think it would work if you did all the face sewing before you sewed it to the back or does it need to be filled when you do it? You make everything look so easy!!!
I make dolls myself and I know Deanna that you say to make your projects our own but my concern would be the survival rate for these dolls' limbs in the event of a tug of war between siblings.
What a fun doll!!! I can’t wait to see how you do their hair 🥰.
Absolutely adorable! Wonderful detailed instruction video. Thank you! Wishing you and your wonderful family a super 2024! Hugs, Susan
Adorable, you have patients.! Your dolls are so cute!

Looks like a Mermaid laying there with the feet crossed!😅😂🤣 I’m never up this early. This is fun to wake up a great craft!💕💕💕
She came out real cute. Can't wait to see how you put on the hair.

Hi Deanna! I'm still here! I am evaluating my sewing skills to see if I can actually accomplish this doll baby! TFS....on to the hair!
You can do it!
I love it!!
Thank you.
I went today and bought me several different prints to make some of these 😍 cuties!!!
Thanks so much for sharing!
You are so sweet!
Adorable. Tfs ❤😊
Awesome work! Adorable!
Yay!!! I’ve been waiting for part 2! I want to make one for my granddaughter! 🥰
Do you just use cotton fabric for the face and arms?
Tfs ❤❤❤
I’m excited to see how the hair is put on!
I'm a bad hand sewer.for faces. But I can use HTV vinyl for the face on a S &C.
She’s looking g good!!❤
Great instructions. I hope to make this doll. Thank you.
Cute
Awesome
She's simply adorable! I'm excited to see what color you're going to use for her hair! I love her already ❤️
Will you have video for hair
I love how she came to life after her little face was on her!

❤
Adorable, will you be naming your dolls?
I believe it would been easier to sew the eyes on before you put the head together.then do your mouth and eyebrows after you stuffed the head.
It seems to me that would work better too.
Is it possible to sew the face on before you sew the front and back together?
Are you make video with hair
❤❤❤
Hi Deanna, were did you get your fabric. I love your prints. I went to Hobby Lobby and they did not have cute fabric like that.
I purchased some of the same valentine fabric that Deanna has from Joann's.
And I found the bee fabric at Hobby Lobby
Ewwwe she got a tracheotomy!😅😂🤣😅😂🤣 like I said I’m watching this very early in my day! 💕☺️
I make dolls myself and I know Deanna that you say to make your projects our own but my concern would be the survival rate for these dolls' limbs in the event of a tug of war between siblings.
She just hand basted them in place and reinforced them on the sewing machine. They’re not going to come off.
