its because apple and android has the pins in the headphones in a different spot Bose used to sell android and apple versions of their wired headphones!

It works, i got it today and i tried it and didnt work but worked on my windows pc, i turned on otg option in android and it works now. Edit: in my phone atleast, the otg option automatically turns off after some time of not using it, so have to turn it again each time u use it which can be annoying, actually i had ordered an iphone which didnt arrive yet so its not a problem for me

Smartphones nowadays automatically detect the earphones with usb c, make sure your phone supports OTG/manually turn it on in your default setting.

So safe to say, the Audio Quality is not as pristine on Android/ Windows from these EarPods, as it is on Mac and iPhones.

It works sir i mean everything even the buttons all working... the only problem is the loudness compared to when you use an apple device.
