Absolutely relate to things feeling like poison. I used to be really into health/psychology/self improvement and now when I listen to it I just feel dirty. Everyone is so sure of themselves, so much ego shining through, even if it appears humble.

Yes me too. I just do the same things but keep it to myself. There is no one to heal/help. There is only what is. Keeping it most peaceful and just letting things the way they are without any resistance to the egoic world is beautiful

Can't be dead, if there never was a you. Though an idea can appear then be dropped and forgotten like it never popped up to begin with. We are but the same. Our character, our life, our everything...a thought. A belief. Hold onto it or let it dissolve away. Ask oneself why do I want to be a character so badly? Doesn't make much sense for an idea or thought to want to be an idea or thought....it has no say in the matter. What is, is. That is, calm nothingness.

My hope is for others to have their own individual out of body experience (OBE) so you can see for yourself that your not your body at all. Once you see this then things like guilt, regret, trauma no longer have a existance in your being because you know they were never yours to begin with. My heart goes out to those still struggling with their attachment to the body. Eventually, I believe we end up in same place and all of this was just a unique ride.

oh Suzanne, this makes so much sense, thank you for this. It has been so enormously difficult to make sense of things, of life, of how to make decisions. I am still in Scotland (moved back and forth from Holland after Dave took his own life in February) and it has been so difficult to find a place to stay. Renting cottages (I know... beautiful too, such an adventure and nature is so so beautiful here) (I am from Rotterdam and living in villages by the sea is so good) and constantly adapting. Also before Dave died we moved all the time. Since nov. 2019 I lived in, really, 35 different places. It now seems the rollercoaster is coming to a stop (but I could be totally 'wrong' about this), with, probably, a place of my own this week in a place that I l0ve and where i've lived and worked before. The loneliness, grief, desperation and total despair have been HELL. I have a strong body, but it seemed like electrical currents were spinning through my whole system, sometimes it felt like burning so so hot and I just didn't know how i could continue living (though never suicidal). It's not Dave and his death, although it is too, it really is losing ALL control, nothing to hold on too.... except.... as from the first moment I arrived in Scotland.... this LAND, the rocks, the sea (I swim everyday and the beauty is beyond words, the water, the colours, the tide, the saltness)... walking and swimming keep 'me' going. Thank you so much for sharing your path, I hope one day we will meet, and who knows. Always welcome here in Scotland (once I have that house!!! haha) xx Good luck in your hometown!

I was hit by your comment as I'm going through hell since my boyfriend ended his life almost two years ago...and also for me it's not all about his death even if there's not a single day that I don't think of him and miss him deeply...but the hell it's also about the suffering I've been trying to numb for years and years. I was living in Scotland for 8 years, in Glasgow and for a while up north in the Highlands close to Findhorn... I loved it so much...There's something very magical of nature in Scotland and I'm glad that the place is somehow supporting you ❤ By reading your sharing I felt less isolated and if you ever want to talk in pvt I'm here x

An alternative way to interpret (less prone to confusion) is that It's not that you don't exist, it's that the sense of being someone separated was a construct of sensations and thoughts that accumulated over time, and that sense of being someone was never us and never really anything of substance.
It's not that nothing exists, it's that nothing exists as the sense of being someone separated believed it was.

this is basically what is happening to me right now. I’m just pointing out “my finger” on the world map.. choosing a destination with the purpose to never come back to my actual living city. I feel internally like I lived thousand of years and yet my heart it is like that of a newborn baby. I feel intensely “the new” shielding me from getting into the old patterns again. Like my soul is taking the lead and with all my being I’m guided towards something better. Much much blessings to you and there is no fear when we choose ourselves from the bottom of the heart but only long lasting happiness and fulfilment.

Changing to a new location eh? Curious indeed. I'm still in the same location where "I" died. Though I have no desire to travel or traverse the board game. I understand the lack of interest in returning to the old characters friends and family. There is a drawback to that. They want you to be the "you" they assume, to fit in their life without realizing that whatever they want you to be, you aren't lol.

Just occurred to me while listening that this is like my favorite expression of “reality TV.”
Such an awesome documentation of transformation, awakening, death, falling away - whatever the hell we try to call it.
So sweet to watch “you” in all the non-phases of this, always sharing openly, doing your best to describe the indescribable.
It’s always been obvious how ineffable it all is, how you could disappear at any moment.🫥🌻
How you were/are simply sharing, never pretending to be a guru, never pretending there was or could be anything here to grab onto.
    Exquisitely, perfectly ungraspable.

I would summarize this as follows : the reality of You , appearing as the person , only concern is to unify through the character whit this reality ; to do so it will bring to the surface any form of separation veiling that reality ; this recognition moment to moment shows You what is necessary to let go off ; the shift is the knowing of this process going on .

Remarkable moment you have shared with us. Once again it would be epic on wide screen. What sort of attention makes for such insight? Not many have broken down the life process as general as what is seen here. Along walking down the road, the camera angle could make it seem like an infant is being carried in a sack of some sorts. That sort of attention is comfortable and open to the wonders of the world and it could be lost on many of us. Time makes attention feel like its letting go of something which we have accumulated here. Perhaps, our generation can see that with a letting go of this deep nature we can attend to the worlds problems more adequately and carve out a new world for future generations. One that contains the freedom to look 👀.

You often attribute your suffering to the opening of the void/dissolution of the ego… but your identity is so wrapped up in spiritual seeking that your sense of isolated self is being reinforced this ‘progress’… your loss of ego might fee real but it is only theoretical… if you are truly distancing from the mind and ego, it cannot hurt, because suffering IS the sense of isolated self fighting for something better… the only way to end your suffering is to give up on pursuing happiness, give up searching, give up hoping… if you cant give up and die (really actually die) right now, then you still have some mission you need to explore, so just focus on that until it’s finished… when you are ready to truly give up on yourself, you can come back to the path

Meaning is just a justification for any behavior under the guise of purpose. It's eye-opening to gaze upon the void, but do you want to continue this way? Is this practice meaningful? If so, I wish you continued success. I'm ADHD and have to have some sort of target goal in my life, or the boredom becomes unbearable. I stumble upon this lack of meaning. I live to create. I live to expand. I live.

I keep dreaming of my own execution. There comes a point in the dream where I have the choice to resist or accept. I choose to accept & wake up feeling empty, like I'm not transmitting anything in the subtle energy spectrum either. Taking up the burdens of the day through habit, I long for this death each night.

I highly reccoment you read "our natural potential: beyond personal development, the stages of enlightenment" by david davidya buckland. I found it invaluable in the liberation journey. He talks about what you are going through right now "the empty world stage" and the good news is its not the end. I have never read a book that broke down the various stages in such great detail. It is fantastic! The good news is it should get better for you. If you aren't in constant bliss yet? You havent finished, and thats a good thing. The empty world part scared the crap out of me. Luckily it doesnt end there. Happy journey to "you" heh

    • @ItApproaches

Facepalm. You bought into a con man. Another so called expert or guru who sells you on ego fluff. Enlightenment isn't about eternal bliss or free from suffering. That fellow just did what many do, takes advantage of the asleep and sells them on the shit they want to hear. Read Jed McKenna's books. At least his first one. Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damndest Thing. (Careful though, it's known as the most depressing book out there), he is the real deal, he calls out the fakes, exposes all the bullshit. Doesn't pull any punches, reading his book will be like having a shovel smashed over your head, but yet you keep coming back to it. Here's a quote of his. "If people knew what enlightenment was, nobody would want it."
      Also there is these ones.
“The misconception about enlightenment stems from, or is at least compounded by, the fact that most of the world’s recognized experts on the subject of enlightenment are not enlightened. Some are great mystics, some are great scholars, some are both, and most are neither, but very few are awake.”
“This core misconception will be a big theme in this book because it’s the primary obstacle in the quest for enlightenment. Nobody’s getting there because nobody knows where there is, and those who are entrusted to point the way are, for a variety of reasons, pointing the wrong way.“
“Allegiance to any spiritual teaching or teacher-any outside authority-is the most treacherous beast in the jungle. The first thing we want to do when we begin our journey is find the companionship and validity that comes with an established group, and in so doing we effectively end the journey before it begins.”
