It was like Lily’s storyline. Yes it was so damn tragic but it went on for like 6-7 episodes. All focused around her. Missed the other characters out totally.

This is Hollyoaks they ALWAYS drag out a storyline for years! That’s why I’ve fully stopped watching this show. It’s crap and not like how it used to be!
This is a very real condition but they made her out of character here. The lying, the faking of symptoms, the attention seeking and manipulating etc is all on par with the illness itself, but her being nasty and vile caught me off guard and I struggled to sympathise with her, I would have rather them give this storyline to a different character.

She's got Munchausen Syndrome which will be diagnosed later in the show. It's a mental illness that causes the person who's ill to fake illnesses for attention. It can often be caused by abusive/rough relationships whether that be with a romantic partner or a family member. They didn't get attention back then so they crave it now. Hers was probably caused by Patrick's abuse, but then it properly kicked off after Adam died and she felt like she had no one. Now she feels like she needs Damon.
Grace and every doctor knows that she faking for a reason is that they done every blood test and stuff like that and came back normal! Why is she doing this for?
Would have loved for the doctor to announce to everyone hes worked it out and give fake diagnosis with chalk pills to make her better and see the reaction.
