I do not recommend anybody to go to Frankfurt. The city is small and there's not much to see. Furthermore, parts of Frankfurt, especially the red-light district are very dangerous. Unless you want to encounter drug addicts at every corner and walk down streets like this: /watch?v=3FW8lUYOkDA&t= you shouldn't go to Frankfurt.
Economixus That's in almost every big city going on: from Amsterdam to London. You should be aware. Keep attention, don't do anything stupid. But most important: enjoy your time. 😊

Just goes to show that nobody cares about skyscrapers or modern buildings. We all want to see cosy old towns centers, narrow cobbled lanes and grand churches.

As a German living near Frankfurt I can only advise you to go there. Other great cities where you can experience the real Germany are: Nuremberg, Dresden, Hamburg, Munich and most important of all: Regensburg. Every city has made/is still making a great and loving effort rebuilding history even tho everybody keeps attacking it. Except Regensburg. That city never got bombed.
I'm an American who doesn't attack Germany, but I have european parents. America is the next disaster. Germany/France/EU may end being the main beacon of freedom in the world.
