I binge watched this this show and these two were the perfect male and female leads in itaewon class and I loved that she plays a person with sociopathic disorder with an IQ of 162. I also watched a movie with her in it called The Witch: subversion and Kim Dae-Mi played that part perfectly, she has a bit part in the sequel too. I think it’s those eyes that make her perfect for those roles, she has those don’t f with me eyes 😊
Rewatched this and finally I conclude that the way Da Mi didn’t realize how fine and special she was is one of the best qualities she has. Can’t wait to see them both on the next show. Hopefully!!
I've seen a lot of kdramas and there are actually a lot of good strong female characters. I think what sets Yi Seo's character apart is because she's very honest about her feelings since the beginning.
They had more chemistry here than in most scenes in IC 🙈 I think a lot had to do with Park Saeroyi being so stoic in the drama, while Park Seojoon is a lot more playful and expressive

I learned to appreciate her in "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion", a great film, and her acting test, absolutely perfect. Itaewon Class, is what is expected when you want to look at something exceptional, when you want to face a touching, and at the same time painful story, when you know that you are seeing a masterpiece, but you want to explore every corner of the plot anyway. For this drama I cried, I smiled, I got angry, and I rejoiced. You are a force of nature Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi, keep it up, because here in Italy there is one of your fans, who hugs you tightly!

Tbh (in my opinion), Itaewon class is the best kdrama for me. The acting was done very well, everything seems natural and its unique. It really makes u wanna watch it. Each character has a different stories ++ I learned a lot of lessons from the story.
Just finished watching itaewon class a few mins ago but damn I fell in love with Kim da mi. At first sure her character was rude and feisty which is why people didn’t like it but damn the character development is crazy. At the end when saeroyi finally finds peace and happiness mainly because of her was so great to see. She really did bet his life on him and was there through it all. She continued to fight for her feelings and not give up despite being told to not like him and in the end it made the fact of him realizing he’s in love with her more satisfactory. I don’t agree with people that he should have ended up with soo ah because they’ve known each other the longest. Love isn’t always based on time. You can fall deeply in love with someone you’ve only known for three months than someone you’ve known for three years. I hate it when people say yi seo was desperate, annoying, and clingy. Why? Is it because unlike other k drama leads she’s confident in expressing her feelings? Or maybe because she didn’t give up on him? Tbh she didn’t force herself upon him, he knew damn well she liked him and realized that he is in love with her. Your girl really dedicated her life and didn’t go to college to help him with his dream. That’s a genuine,unconditional love right there. Sure they only had a few moments of officially being a couple but those were so sweet and beautiful. I ship them and thought the ending was great. ❤️ some people really out here being petty af cos she doesn’t have the “right look”, didn’t choose jang geun soo, saeroyi shouldve ended up with soo ah...are you kidding me?! Such shallow reasons to hate her🥺
Glad you enjoyed this series, I know her love for him is unconditional, she’s very confident that both of them will achieve their dream. I love the concept of the drama when she was kick out of her house and their watched the sunrise together and asked him is he is serious in making Danbam a franchise, and at the end of the series they ended up watching the sunset after achieving all of their dreams.

There are times when we usually stay to watch the drama because of the male characters most of the time even tho the female characters are annoying sometimes. It was a great change to stay to watch the drama for a female character. I actually stop watching korean dramas because after watching more than 50 k-dramas female characters seems to have all the same stuff going on and usually they are showing a pure, weak characters. I loved Yiseo because she was a strong and willed character different than most. We tend to see strong women characters which is potrait overpowerful in a way that is unrealistic but in this drama it wasn't like that and i loved it! Kim Da-mi is really impressive actress i must say i loved her acting in the movie The witch as well 😍 i will be looking foward to for her new projects!
This is why i like her character. Jo Yiseo is flawed, just like everybody else. That was the most realistic trait of her that I can really relate to. We were usually given a strong, kind and pure female lead, and sometimes it's kind of tiring to watch, because not everyone's like that! And her character development is another reason why I love her character. She didn't do it just because of PSRY, but because she reflected on her actions. Racist? She apologized and helped Tony on finding his father plus exposing the racist club by posting on her blog. Transphobic? She helped Hyunyi improve her cooking skills and acknowledged her as a woman by calling her 'unnie' (idk abt y'all but it's just beautiful) Rude? Yes, she is. But then she actually had the guts to own up her mistakes and appreciates Geun Soo for liking her all these years (she may not reciprocate the feelings, but i think being appreciated for liking someone is good enough for me) and finally apologize to Geun Soo for taking him for granted plus the hug that made it extra emotional istg 🥺😭. And finally, bringing the worst and the best out of Park Sae Ro Yi, she made him the best man. From a small pub owner to a successful CEO of IC Co. She made his bitter night- sweet, again. THAT'S WHY SHE DESERVES LOVE, NOT HATE. 🥺😭✨♥️💖
i actually started watching for Hyun-yi's character, but stayed for all of them (yes, even the villains are great) it's an amazing adaptation tho i haven't read the source material still, i love my danbam family the most, the 4 of them (tony came later and didn't have much of an impact so i couldn't get attached, but he's precious too)

I binge watched this this show and these two were the perfect male and female leads in itaewon class and I loved that she plays a person with sociopathic disorder with an IQ of 162. I also watched a movie with her in it called The Witch: subversion and Kim Dae-Mi played that part perfectly, she has a bit part in the sequel too. I think it’s those eyes that make her perfect for those roles, she has those don’t f with me eyes 😊
Rewatched this and finally I conclude that the way Da Mi didn’t realize how fine and special she was is one of the best qualities she has. Can’t wait to see them both on the next show. Hopefully!!
I've seen a lot of kdramas and there are actually a lot of good strong female characters. I think what sets Yi Seo's character apart is because she's very honest about her feelings since the beginning.
They had more chemistry here than in most scenes in IC 🙈 I think a lot had to do with Park Saeroyi being so stoic in the drama, while Park Seojoon is a lot more playful and expressive
I so am in love with Kim Da-mi,she is looks so pure and her answer about the color white definitely describe her well.

I have a crush on Kim Da-mi. I'll watch anything she is in. I like how her character in ITAEWON CLASS owned her power and how throughout the show she could show so much emotion without saying a word. She was equally great in film The Witch (also on Netflix)

After watching itaewon class, i became a fan of kim da mi. She captivates me with her smile and the way she act is so natural. The way she dress is so fashionable (thats normal in most korean stars). Overall i love her..hahaha..hopefully there would be season 2 for IC..

Tbh (in my opinion), Itaewon class is the best kdrama for me. The acting was done very well, everything seems natural and its unique. It really makes u wanna watch it. Each character has a different stories ++ I learned a lot of lessons from the story.

Just finished watching itaewon class a few mins ago but damn I fell in love with Kim da mi. At first sure her character was rude and feisty which is why people didn’t like it but damn the character development is crazy. At the end when saeroyi finally finds peace and happiness mainly because of her was so great to see. She really did bet his life on him and was there through it all. She continued to fight for her feelings and not give up despite being told to not like him and in the end it made the fact of him realizing he’s in love with her more satisfactory. I don’t agree with people that he should have ended up with soo ah because they’ve known each other the longest. Love isn’t always based on time. You can fall deeply in love with someone you’ve only known for three months than someone you’ve known for three years. I hate it when people say yi seo was desperate, annoying, and clingy. Why? Is it because unlike other k drama leads she’s confident in expressing her feelings? Or maybe because she didn’t give up on him? Tbh she didn’t force herself upon him, he knew damn well she liked him and realized that he is in love with her. Your girl really dedicated her life and didn’t go to college to help him with his dream. That’s a genuine,unconditional love right there. Sure they only had a few moments of officially being a couple but those were so sweet and beautiful. I ship them and thought the ending was great. ❤️ some people really out here being petty af cos she doesn’t have the “right look”, didn’t choose jang geun soo, saeroyi shouldve ended up with soo ah...are you kidding me?! Such shallow reasons to hate her🥺

There are times when we usually stay to watch the drama because of the male characters most of the time even tho the female characters are annoying sometimes. It was a great change to stay to watch the drama for a female character. I actually stop watching korean dramas because after watching more than 50 k-dramas female characters seems to have all the same stuff going on and usually they are showing a pure, weak characters. I loved Yiseo because she was a strong and willed character different than most. We tend to see strong women characters which is potrait overpowerful in a way that is unrealistic but in this drama it wasn't like that and i loved it! Kim Da-mi is really impressive actress i must say i loved her acting in the movie The witch as well 😍 i will be looking foward to for her new projects!
This is why i like her character. Jo Yiseo is flawed, just like everybody else. That was the most realistic trait of her that I can really relate to. We were usually given a strong, kind and pure female lead, and sometimes it's kind of tiring to watch, because not everyone's like that! And her character development is another reason why I love her character. She didn't do it just because of PSRY, but because she reflected on her actions. Racist? She apologized and helped Tony on finding his father plus exposing the racist club by posting on her blog. Transphobic? She helped Hyunyi improve her cooking skills and acknowledged her as a woman by calling her 'unnie' (idk abt y'all but it's just beautiful) Rude? Yes, she is. But then she actually had the guts to own up her mistakes and appreciates Geun Soo for liking her all these years (she may not reciprocate the feelings, but i think being appreciated for liking someone is good enough for me) and finally apologize to Geun Soo for taking him for granted plus the hug that made it extra emotional istg 🥺😭. And finally, bringing the worst and the best out of Park Sae Ro Yi, she made him the best man. From a small pub owner to a successful CEO of IC Co. She made his bitter night- sweet, again. THAT'S WHY SHE DESERVES LOVE, NOT HATE. 🥺😭✨♥️💖
