Run... I own one of these homes by century home. In less than 1.5 years I had massive mold growth in my attic, water damage behind my tile in the shower and a roof leak in my living room. I have stucco damages. And it’s not just mine, it’s all of the neighborhood! Also they only have a 1 year warranty on the roof and anything structural that’s wrong, they’ll just find a way to victim blame.
Hi, so sorry you have having these issues. I would contact your Realtor as they can help you with this. If there were issues with the build quality, your Realtor should know how to advise you on how to get a solution that will hopefully resolve the issues you are having. Ive seen these issues in a few builders over time and usually it is a bad contractor they had, but with the right motivation, if the build quality was done incorrectly, you should be able to get a resolution. I've sold Century homes and haven't come across this issue with them, but have seen it with other builders, and when there is an issue it's usually a large amount of homes in the same community where the same contractor was working. Each time the builder has tried to refuse to fix the issue, but they typically all fix it eventually with the right motivation. Good luck!
@@THEMELLOGROUP I dealt directly with warren, we didn’t use a realtor at the time. It’s not just my home, I’m in stonewood, and it’s almost every home has issues. We’ve reached out to century homes they said I had mold in my new build because I put my ac under 74 degrees, when I contacted them about the water behind the shower they haven’t responded to my emails, I’ve been with a new build and no master shower for months now. Paid for all the mold remediation out of pocket, and now I am having to use my insurance as it’s cost me over 30k in damages and repair. My home closed in December 2018. When all the issues was discovered was in August of 2020. Bad builder and won’t correct any problems or compensate
Hello Ali, thank you for commenting. When Model Homes are set up for showing they put landscaping in front of the garage, to look pretty for curb appeal, but when this home sells they turn into a regular access driveway to the garage :)
