It's cool to see someone giving Rhyperior some attention. It's my third favourite Pokémon behind Swampert/Mega and Zekrom. Finally, this was an awesome challenge to see and, Keep it up with the good work.
Great content I hope you grow, I usually throw on some Pokémon play through content at bed time and pass out. Please dim your brightness even at my lowest brightness with night shift on the whites are still so white.
Rhypeior is a superior Rhyhorn, with better stats overall. Megahorn and Rock blast were making it a better Rhydon, but like Rhydon it's low special, and the 4 times weakness to water and grass were the key aspect that you had considered while doing the run, which cost time. But the more experienced you are the better are the results. 😊 Keep it up!
It's slight weaker in attack and defense, but faster with slightly more special. But he gets the same moves as rhydon, minus a lot of the special moves. But it has defense curl/harden for BB purposes.
@@DwunD016 Even without the badge boosts, it always seemed like a better pokemon than Rhydon. 🤔 But I guess that slight speed, and badge boost could be useful. And don't forget that Golem has the medium-slow growth rate compared to Rhydon's slow growth rate .
6:10 Why do TH-camrs always ALWAYS have to make it unnecessarily inconvenient for themselves? Just heal before the rival battle... Use items in battle...It's how your audience plays those games.
So, part of as to why I didn't heal before this battle, aside from not having any Antidote's in my inventory, is that not healing at the Vermillion Pokémon Center allows you to quickly warp back to Cerulean by Digging in either the Pokémon Fan Club house, or Digletts Cave in Yellow. Its a huge time save, especially when trying to complete these challenges as fast as possible. Whether its using real time or game time as the metric. As far as items in battle and how my audience plays the games. If I allowed myself items in battle, is it really a challenge at that point? And people play this game in many ways. Some do play it the traditional way as you described. Others play with other self-imposed challenges like nuzlockes, themed teams, some speed-run, etc. There is no one way to play these games.
Sorry, I forgot to add that the back sprite is really funny, I love Rhyperior's face looking back at the viewer like "Hey!".
Yeah lol, I wish in this randomizer they would of given it a legit back sprite. I don't mind it too much when they don't have one.

I would like to run it in a later generation game. Perhaps either gen 5 or 6.

Helping out the algorithm. Such a good back port.
Appreciate it. Have an idea for some runs I didn't plan on releasing
Cool video as always mate, keep it up!
Got a few cookin right now. Currently editing another gen 6 run and have some old footage like this video that I might make into a versus.
To bad the punches were special back in the day.
Ah, right, I forgot that Gengar used to run punch moves for coverage.
It’s too bad this wasn’t a proper backport - maybe Rhyperior would have gotten Twineedle instead of Megahorn. #TwineedleGang

I noticed some of the sprites are from the japanese version, I think those that choose are way better what we had here
Agreed
Love to see my favorite Pokemon get used, was Megahorn 100% accurate or were you just meant to go to vegas that week?
85% I think? Maybe 80 lol

Yeah, if I were to redo this run, I think I could shave off at least 30 mins. I have a few older runs, and I have an idea for some unreleased footage.
I'm definitely excited to do golem, rhydon, sandslash and a few others to name.
@@DwunD016 Golem will be better in my opinion, because it gets good moves in gen 1,if I recall correctly...🤔

Have you done Breloom yet? That might be a fun one.
Nope! Don't think I ever got a Breloom rom generated.
POKEMON!
