Love this build!! I especially like how you can break the whole rig down into three main components and retain the flexibility to use the camera for stills, when needed, in an operation that would literally take seconds. In my case I would want to use a V-Mount battery, but this build can very easily be adjusted to accommodate for this by using the Smallrig V-Mount plate rather than the cheeseplate you used. This is a build I'm definitely going to replicate!

I also same camera, I am building my own rig, and today I got my V-mount battery with several ports to charge but!!!!! the camera does not turn on, I tried with a C cable and nothing, then with USB and nothing. I tried the C-type cable the camera came with and nothing. I am not sure anymore what's the issue. Any insight? Did you have the same issues? I even turn on the power supply in the menu. Thanks

Does it feel odd having the left handle far off from the right hand grip?
I did think it was going to but actually it was perfectly fine
