I also saw your raised eyebrow at their obvious product placement. This was their first proper music video, sponsored by a dentist. This video kind of represents their story. They won a tv show where money and a record deal was promised. But quickly got dropped by the record label... So they hustled. Put up youtube videos, lived in the same apartment complex, practiced every day, took all the gigs that they could.. And they made it. They succeeded. So the "home made rocket that everyone laughed at" is basically symbolizing their hustle.

If you want to hear Scott's really high falsetto, you could react to 'Lose us' by Scott Hoying and Rozzi (a friend of him with a great voice too). The song and the video are A+, I think you'll like it. And they won't curse in any PTX video, they always change the words 😉. But in Superfruit (Scott and Mitch) you can see many 🍓🍓🍓 peeps 🤣.

Sooo I don’t have the cleanest language, but I do try to keep it in check when I’m at church or around children. Haha. I love PTX. They really are special and each one could have a solo career. It’s great. Everyone was recommending this one because she actually says her name so the fans don’t have to keep trying to make a pronunciation for you in the comment. It’s also one of their first real videos and releases post sing off. Also, it feels like Scott has to really keep his vocals in check. His voice projects so much and so well and his vocal control is utterly astounding. His riffs and runs are super clean and controlled. Sometimes it is just as hard (or even harder) to pull yourself back, especially when you’re performing.
I've heard that, on some of these very early videos, they were known as pentababies. Scott and Kirstie were 20 and Mitch was still only 19 when this was uploaded in June 2012. In regards to swearing, they do refrain from this in respect to Kevin and his beliefs. For the same reason, they don't work as a full crew on Fridays.

Avi guest starred on their video for the Johnny Cash cover of Ring of Fire. I saw PTX live over the Christmas holiday last year. They're just as amazing live as recorded. They've worked with other famous artists. They did Winter a medley of Wonderland/Don't Worry with Tori Kelly. They covered If I Ever Fall in Love by Shai with Jason Derulo. Todrick Hall worked with them on a few different projects. They did a Star Wars medley. And one of their greatest covers was at the 2016 Grammys, they performed The Way of the World with Stevie Wonder to honor Earth, Wind & Fire and their late great founder Maurice White.
