I'm glad Bandai is fixing problems with the reissues... But at the same time it's a very bad look for them. They are proving that it's not worth to get the early releases since there's a chance they will come with qc issues.
@@nhyar The same can be said for nearly anything, but isn’t always the case here. The figures come from different departments although they represent one company. Not everything has had qc issues; people just fixate on what did. There have been many releases since Trunks.
Would be cool if buyers of the first release could get replacement parts that tackle the qc. Right now it’s hard not to feel cheated when you buy the first release, only to have a reissue come out with the problems fixed. I am thinking about that Trunks release and reissue too.
Yeah, screw Tamashi and Bandai. This is their MO now. Release a busted general release, and try to bait you into buying a reissue that is fixed. Trunks and his loose arms, and all the hip joint issues, this Goku and his weird crop top tan lines, and SSJ Gohan and his weak neck, this weak neck is due to the ball joint being in soft plastic with no hard plastic socket, and his exploding hips due to the tolerances of the ball and sockets being too tight. The Neck though gets more loose due to the cape pulling up on the head, and hence pulling on the ball joint in the neck and stretching it. I am done pre ordering and buying first runs of general release figures. I would rather pay after market and get the figure later (if I find out there are no issues with the figure, and there is no reissue). I know I come off as aggressive and angry, but none of that is directed towards you Rockchala. I appreciate the review, but what Tamashi and Bandai are doing is unacceptable.
I would almost agree with you except that it’s not like they’re doing this intentionally. Bandai is an enormous corporation and they make a ton of figures from many different lines. Mistakes happen and at least they are correcting it. Yes, some things get rushed out, but if you’re not confident in a 1st wave release, you can always go for the 2nd wave.
@@treyvonishere4375 It is not about being gentle. The hips are overly tight. I fixed mine with shock oil and have not had the issue, but that is because I saw LOTS OF OTHER POSTS of collectors figures break first. I am gentle, but my figure is fine because of the issues others have cataloged, and it should not have to be this way. Bandai are now on a streak with QC issues on general releases, specifically ones around the $50 - $70 dollar range, and all of them new molds. Since Trunks, Boy From the Future, all the way to SSJ Gohan. There have been four general release figures that are new molds. Only one has no issues, and that is Dragon Ball GT Kid Goku. The other three releases I detailed above, and so have a lot of others. 1/4 is a very poor track record. If yours is 100% fine, you should be grateful and realize how lucky you are, and instead not chastise others who are critical of the corp with a increasingly mixed track record.
That's not right they both have the same tamashii nation circle sticker that only applied to figures that got rereleases after they changed sticker size this release came out after the change but the easiest way to know is the box will say reissue on the rear usually by the UPC barcode
You need to put the camera much closer to the figures for a comparison video or else we can’t see the details. It’s way too far in this video ( if watched from a phone).
I don't see much of a difference. And I don't think the original issue was really that prevalent except for on cameras and really specific lighting, so I don't really know if there's a reason to get this one.
I didn’t even know there was something wrong with him lol. They chest color doesn’t bother and and the ab articulation didn’t bother me either. I thought it was pretty good
Yeah I seen this on bbts and got one in my cart about to hit confirm I have FP Frieza paid for so I definitely need this for the darn faceplate this is my first bbts purchase is there any discounts for first time buyers
Wow, this Dragon Ball Super collection is awesome! 🐉 I just watched a video about Dragon Ball figurines that have some very rare and unique versions, and the way they are displayed is also very impressive. Has anyone seen it? If not, you might like it! 😍🤩
Not the best comparison video if I’m being honest lol really shouldn’t of had a pose that covers the chest. None the less thanks for the heads up

If you need some excuse to spend less, waiting only for reissues/rereleases is one way to go...

How do we distinguish the rerelease from the original, when buying online?
This will depend on the region you are buying from, but in Japan the original has been out of stock for a long time.
The circular hologram in the rerelease is smaller.

Yo, where can I get this re-issue and the trunk re-issue
Would have loved it if you have actually looked into the side by side with standard same pose.

I need them to restock the reissue
