Becca I love your sideboard. That pine forest picture is so pretty.you prove true the impact of putting like items together verses all over the room…the nutcracker gathering is gorgeous! I’ve not seen that anywhere before. I laughed at the end of the tree decorating, unbelievable that was working with what you had. So stunning! It's soooo beautiful!! I love it! I did the nutcracker them this year as well!! I had some 20 something year old nutcrackers with sequins the I "dusted off", 🙂and put them out this year along side some new ones from Hobby Lobby. I even made a nutcracker army on a shelf, using unfinished nutcrackers that I found at Hobby Lobby back in August! Anyway, I love how your foyer turned out!! If you had a community page I could share my decorations with you as well. Thanks for sharing!! Blessings!

On a long shelf in my family room. Mine aren't Christmas so they stay out most of the time. I love those guys! I got them in Neustadt and Eisenstadt where they make a lot of them! They have a lot of crystal in those two cities also.@@AdventuresinDecorating

Becca! I love it! I use to be a nutcracker fanatic...I had tons of them..I switched to Santas and got rid of my nutcrackers which now I regret. I did purchase one of those from Hobby Lobby as well and I love him, and may have to start collecting them again. Have a great day!
Sharon, I totally get it about "retiring" a certain collection and then regretting it. That's how I feel about the beautiful holiday house villages I used to have and then gave away, lol. I know your Santa collection is fabulous, and it will be fun rebuilding your nutcracker collection!

Oh my goodness! This is just beyond words beautiful! I adore each bit. You really tugged at my heartstrings seeing the tartan/plaids and the nutcrackers. @@AdventuresinDecorating Sadly, I do not know where the nutcrackers are. The Christmas decor was stored at their cottage and when it sold I was recovering from my stroke. I still have cousins in Ayr (Ayrshire) and they were just here in May. I am going to try and get over there for my 60th next year. I was last there in 1974!! :)

Beautiful foyer Christmas decorating! I bought a new tree yesterday. Im going to trim it today. I think I need you to come help me! I live in Michigan, and it’s raining today, so a good day for trimming the tree. Im kind of excited, as my old tree was 6 years old, and not fun to trim. This one is full, and pretty nice! I do all gold, silver, white and glass decor. Last year, I did a bundle of white twirly picks. So Im doing that again.
Also, the rocking horse. Please link that beautiful one too!

On Becca, you have done it again! Your foyer is gorgeous and oh so festive. I too use Nutcrackers to decorate with, there is just something about them that are so magical and mysterious. I use them throughout the house and have two five foot standing guard at my front door. Thank you for the link to the Etsy print, I am going to order one, and I think possibly the rug too. @@AdventuresinDecorating Yes, I have collected Nutcrackers for about 6-7 years now. I didn't go crazy buying them, I bought only the ones that I felt were special. I had to have the two standing outside, on my stairs as I love that look. My home is a two-story grand foyer contemporary colonial with brick outside stairs that are 10 feet wide. It's white with green shutters and I have outside wreaths in every window with red bows. I have string lights inside that go around the frame of the window so you can see them from outside, (like in the Home Alone house). I have you to thank for a lot of my decorations in the house as I get so many ideas from you. I give you credit and show everyone that comes to my house your TH-cam channel. You have been a tremendous inspiration and for that I thank you and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
Such a welcoming sight Becca. I to use nutcrackers somewhere in my home each year and this year they wound up in my grandson’s room. He stays with us several times a month and I always decorate his room with something. This weekend I will be decorating my granddaughter’s room. I’m thinking of using Santa’s and snowmen in her room but not really sure. I will be going out and about today and it’s hard to tell what will catch my eye. We are supposed to have rain all weekend so I’m hoping to finish everything except my porches. Have a fun weekend my friend and I look forward to seeing what you transform into a masterpiece next Friday🎄❤️🎄
