Don't know if you'll see this Tom, but the clutch thing is most likely just where the hydraulic fluid has leaked, either from a top part(quick job) or the bottom part by the gearbox (long job) a quick fix is some brake fluid in the small tank just to the right of the Left bonnet strut. Source- I had a similar problem with a 2013 Defender 110 2 months ago

Think your clutch master cylinder may have snapped, it attaches to the clutch pedal n makes it spring back, have a check behind the pedal to see if something is disconnected/snapped♥️

Tom, you should look into a sliding racking system for the storage room. Imagine 3 rows of storage boxes on racks with the middle one able to slide to either side to allow access to all sides. Each rack could hold 3x3 or 9 boxes for a total of 28. Actually, I think I underestimated. I think you could maybe get 3x4 or 3x5 on each shelf for maybe a max of 45.

It would open up a ton of different opportunities/ideas with the extra space. - You could extend the yard (giving more room for parties/celebrations….or a proper swing) - extending the drive giving more room for guest to park, and possibly stop the risk of “caramanjaro” - OR! And for my personal favorite, extend the yard, the fence line, and have a proper garden! I think Lidia would love it, the baby would love it, and most importantly a shoutout to the man himself grandad ❤️ Thank you Tom! Love you and the family! Keep up the great work!
Tom im telling you, get or make a shed for the backyard to store your bikes and gear/ garden equipment ( future outdoor kid toys! ) to open the garage for other forms of storage!! It would be good content, and very functionable

Tom, with the clutch pedal there's a few things it could be, it could possibly be a snapped clutch cable, the clutch pivot shaft could be seizing or the clutch master cylinder could need replacing
