the bibs at the end are called bandana bibs. Most people use them as a dribble bib to protect clothing from teething drool and in case baby spits up throughout the day - that way you can just change the bib and don't need to change their whole outfit. hope this helps! xx

I love these videos 💕 2 weeks until we find out if baby number 3 is going to be a boy or girl, we already have 2 boys 💙 I always found in the first couple months the babygrows from Next were a much better fit like more snug because rather then just being 0-3 months they do newborn, up to 1 month & up to 3 month so they didn’t look so baggy on our babies in the early days ☺️

Yes such underrated shops people overlook also make sure you get more older clothing too as lots of people usually buy 0-3 months all my friends didn't use half of them! 🙈💖

Get a few newborn items because you'll find 0-3 will be too big at first. My son was 7lb7oz and I had to get him tiny baby, babygrows and vests. Xx

If you have a Morrisons near you they do some great baby bits. It’s quite a small section but what they do have is fab x
Primark is so good for baby clothes id recommended getting plenty of vests and sleep suits hats scratch mittens and I found a really affordable nappy bin on amazon hope this helps, ps imogen you are glowing so much💚

I’m so excited for you! She’s going to be so so loved! Just a heads up, the vest baby grows at 6:37 are a godsend in summer! Obviously she probably won’t need them this year but for next year, Matalan always do them! 💗💗
Definitely recommend getting the pram suit in 0-3 months as well as 6-9 because baby girl will need one for in the park to eep her warm when out on walks ❤️

Stoppp. I’ve always said I’ve never wanted kids, I’m only 14 but I just feel like that’s not what I want in life but watching this, watching the immense love you have for her has made me think how nice it would be to one day have children. You are going to be the most amazing mummy and I can’t wait to see you little honey grow into a beautiful girl.

I’ve had 3 bubba’s definitely learnt what you don’t need lol teething bibs they won’t need till 3+ months. Nappy bins you won’t use. Socks are lovely from Matalan and any supermarket. Sleep bags are AMAZING instead of blankets at night, most are 8lb + give you more peace of mind. Just stock up on muslins/ vests and sleepsuits and don’t buy to many newborn clothes they grow SO fast. Enjoy every second it’s magical 🤍🤍🤍

A nappy bin is essential for those poo explosions😂👶! A steriliser was my no 1 essential buy❤️! Baby grows with a zip are great too, especially during night feeds, I got some from h&m and John lewis!😘 You're both doing amazing! Can't wait to continue seeing the rest of your journey xx

Dont bother with a nappy bin they are rubbish and just literally stink!! I dont know if u still can bug u used to be able to get these things called sock ons which go over baby socks to stop the falling off as they always fall off! The trinagle shaped bibs u had in the peter rabbit sets are dribble bibs u put them on when teething they are thick so stops their clothes getting wet and sore round the neck 😊 xx

Imo - I would massively recommend bonds wondersuits -they are amazing and you can get them from John Lewis in the UK. They are fantastic and your little bubs will live in them !

Imogen and Spencer you will need to get a couple of newborn hats and also newborn baby sleep suits because when she's first born she will be tiny my granddaughter was 8lb 4°z and a lot of her newborn stuff was too big for her she's only 5 months old now and she's only weighs 14lb now and is in 3-6 months clothes you will need loads of Muslims/burp clothes and you will need a newborn all in one baby suit to bring her home from hospital in and stock up on loads of newborn nappies baby bottles mam all the best ones to buy and some mam dummies too and a sterilizer too xx

I always noticed Asda clothes were quite big, 3-6 months from Asda were bigger than 6-9 from primark ! X

Someone has probs already answered. But those Peter rabbit bib looking bandanas are bibs. Most are used on newborns depending what size you get. It’s up to you whether you use them when breastfeeding/bottle feeding as well as to put on to save outfits getting ruined from dribble. Had lots of experience from family additions haha x

I used to get all my muslins from sainsburys or asda, still use them now for when he’s got a snotty nose and he’s 2 now lol!
Asda is my go to shop for his clothes all the time! I’ve been using George since he was a baby, same as matalan, they have lovely stuff!
Oh I just love this and Matalan is killing it at the moment,. We have a new baby in the family who is one week old (baby Paige Nova) and Matalan was my go to for buying her little bits and bobs (got soo carried away too 🙊...I’ll never be a biological auntie so I’ll be the best auntie in law I can be)🍼 Take care and lots of love from a small TH-camr ♥️
my baby girl stayed in mostly sleep suit sets with wee cardigans and a nice dress if we went out for the first couple of months 💖. Then when she was 3-6 months thats then when we moved into leggings and tops. xx

Watching this as a mum with a nearly 1 year old! Cannot believe it!! So lovely to see how excited you both are, I remember imagining baby in all the clothes. So so cute 🥰 Sainsbury’s is especially good for tall babies which my little boy is (just a little tip). Xx

Such beautiful pieces of clothing for little princess... I don't think there is any need to gender baby/childrens clothing, go for what you like and as she gets older what she likes :) I love that so many places are bringing back the 'traditional' style baby outfits, they are just so adorable.
For things like muslins, bibs, hats and socks have you thought about checking in Primark?
Also the main things I think you'll need (apart from the obvious crib, pram, clothing, nappy bag and carseat) would be nappy bin, changing table/mat, baby bath or seat for in the bath, waterproof crib sheets, a bouncy chair or swing as she gets a little older. A baby sling/carrier may be good if you want to get things done while carrying her or don't want to have to always use the pram - I know of parents who ended up using a sling around the home so they could get things done while baby was still close/fussy.
But the most important thing you both need is to trust your own intuition... you will be amazing parents and you will come to recognise signs/sounds as to what little one wants/needs and you will know if something isn't right, please trust your own judgement in these things, and also never be afraid to reach out for help if you need it.
As princess is due in September, remember that a lot of what you'll need for the next stage will be around her first Christmas so perhaps ask family members, etc for practical presents (toys, baby seat or whatever) for her that you need as I am sure they would rather help with 'needs' rather than struggle to choose 'wants'.

I found the nappy bin a waste of money! Even if you’re regularly emptying the smell just lingers🤣I personally found it a lot easier and less smelly just using nappy bags and putting them straight into the outside bin haha! But it’s all trial and error and you’ll find out along the way what works best for you all, so excited for you and the amazing adventure of parenthood that you’re about to go on🥰I would definitely recommend the baby bath seats that are made from fabric they’re usually travel ones and you can adjust the height and pillow, especially during the newborn stage they’re much more convenient and comfortable for the baba xx
You can still buy summer/cooler clothes and just add cardigans or tights, or long sleeve vests. I had my baby girl in October and that’s what I did untill we were allowed shopping again & by then, winter clothing was in x
I’d say don’t worry too much about buying too many things. Coz as your parents first grandchild I reckon they’ll buy her loads. Xxx it’s so exciting!!!! Love all the bits you chose xx

18:05 they’re dribble bibs. They’re worn when they’re a dribbly baby. Such as when they’re teething. It’s to stop their vest/tops from getting wet and causing dribble rashes x
You will also need some other sizes smaller as you dont know what the weight of your baby girl will be. The triangle bib that you asked what they where they are teething bibs. And the little Teddy with the little blanket in matalan is a comforter xx

I often gets my kids clothes from Tesco f&f as they last for very long in perfect shape and can do my grocery top up at the same time😉
