My Black Dog

FLING Physical Theatre's My Black Dog is an original performance developed to support the mental health of young people living in regional, rural and remote locations. Presented in the Bega Valley in August 2019, the project sought to break down stigma and generate conversation on an issue that is often difficult to talk about.
The project was co-created with The FLING Company, directed by Melbourne based artist Kate Denborough, in collaboration with FLING Co Artistic Directors Gabrielle Rose and Rob McCredie.
The My Black Dog Project was winner of the Youth Award at the Mental Health Matters Awards 2019.
