What a GREAT gift your physics teacher gave you; you must have made an impression oh your teacher 😊. Yes Yes and Yes!!!! LOVE all the upbeat Sinatra songs. Timeless. My Grandfather, Father, myself and my son all love/loved his music; 4 generations. Want to hear what I think is his sexiest song? “THE BEST IS YET TO COME; please react to it ❤
I recommend listening to "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars (Corcovado)" from the recordings he made with songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim. The album title is "Francis Albert Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim." Wonderful song, with orchestration by Claus Ogerman. Check it out.
Man, on any given Sunday, get away from the crazy ass old world, get in the kitchen with a three hour recipe, and cook with Frank in the background. Youll thank me later.
Nice. Elvis Presley was a bigger deal than Frank Sinatra. Sinatra followed in the footsteps of Bing Crosby. And jazz became popular in the 1920s, over a decade before Sinatra wowed the girls in the 1940s. Presley pushed rock 'n' roll into the mainstream in the 1950s and that sparked a cultural revolution in the 1960s felt to this day even as reactionaries conspire against the social progress made in the decades that followed, including the progress to go out in public dressed however you want so long as your junk is covered. Yeah, some people bitch and moan about that still, and sure some people abuse that freedom. But when it comes to abuses of freedom I can think of far deadlier examples that the people who bitch and moan about what people wear in public readily overlook. But I digress. Sinatra made a lot of movies during his career so his legacy remains strong in these times where visual media dominates audio media. By my count popular music changed styles almost a dozen times in my lifetime, but doesn't seem to have changed much at all over the last decade or so. Sinatra's music fell out of style for a decade or so around the 1980s only to make a comeback in the 2000s. "Come Fly With Me" was used to advertise an airline on television some years back. When you're ready for more from Frank Sinatra also check out "Luck Be A Lady", "That's Life", "Fly Me To The Moon", "Blue Skies", "I've Got You Under My Skin", and "(I Don't Stand) A Ghost Of A Chance".
I've been missing your reactions. Cool to see you back, and with a Sinatra tune to boot. Awesome!

This Gen-Xer loves old blue eyes or the chairman of the board if you will
Old Blue Eyes.
I love to pretend I can sing like Frank. My family loves it much less because I can't really sing like Frank.
