The first two stages, at times look similar. You can seek God in prayer for clarity. Regardless of the stage, all that matters is that you remain at His feet and follow the instructions He gives you.
None are good. All have fallen short of the glory of God. All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you don’t sin, what do you need Jesus for? To say that you have no sin, is a sin of self righteousness. Furthermore, it deters unbelievers from seeking salvation because they get the idea, from those who are self righteous, that proof of salvation is that one never sins again, after believing in Jesus’ sacrifice. There is only one who walked the earth without sin. You know who that is. Sanctification begins after justification (believing in Jesus’ sacrifice) and ends at the end of your life. Then you are glorified with your new sinless body. Then, and only then, will you never sin again. The closer you are with Christ, the more you realize the sinful depravity that still remains within you. A single thought can qualify as a sin. Tell me that you have never held a wicked thought, or an evil thought since you were saved and I’ll sell you a Space X rocket I bought from Elon Musk.
