Thank you! It's been unclear to me whether "HD" referred to CNC'd plates, or if there was some other process by which cleaner lines were achieved. Now that I know that it's a mix of process and materials, things are so much clearer.
The maker I currently deal with does cnc championship belts. The only time he's ask for a high price on a cnc belt, was based on how the thickness of the zinc, how many layers were stacked on each plate, and whether you plates are all gold, or dual plated.
You explain the differences between them but when you order these online they’re not always Described as whether or not their HD or not so makers don’t even actually put that on there they just advertise it as oh it’s this belt at this price and they don’t actually tell you whether it’s HD or CNC or etc so it can be hard when ordering
Ask the makers. The good ones are upfront on it, such as Muhammad Nawaz. He has pricing for SD and HD etc. Don’t buy from someone who isn’t forthcoming about what it is. Basically stay away from eBay.
@@watchreport I can vouch for Nawaz as one of the most honest as well. But as a matter of personal preference, I use Luqman of Royal Belts. Very honest as well.
@@arewhykay I'm fairly new to this, and I'm thinking of getting my first belt. As I've said I've found HD belts wtih 24kt Gold made in Pakistan, it's around 400$, would you recommend such a buy from you experience ?
@fleezelight or better I should say HD at that price is alarmingly low. SOMEONE is losing or getting screwed out of money if you get that quality at that price

How does somebody get zinc plates at that thickness?
How do you get such deep etching and things like bevels with the acid HD process?

They could probably get a much better SD and CNC product if they maybe did some tumbling or sandblasting.

Who made the HD Acid bro? Also I am a fellow WWF Women’s Pink belt owner, we spoke on Facebook a year or so ago
HD Acid was By Ali Anas at Altair Belts. I haven't gotten a belt in about a year now. The buying experience isn't worth the product anymore.

You'd have to shop around, that specimen was made by Hamyar belts and I got it in a trade.

I have found HD belts from Pakistani.
Yeah, they're out there, but you gotta pay for them. Some even get their plates etched in China for those belts.
