I did it in my 4th try, and yes it was a struggle, because if you died you'd had to restart from fight 1. It was a pain in the ass

Kaneki Same. I found a way to make sure it never happens though. Make sure you have leaf bracer equipped and use cure as soon as he says "Can you spare a heart?"

Oh so that's why he never grabbed though he announced this attack three times - whenever i heard him starting this attack i would heal... So all this time i got my ass saved by Leaf Bracer... ALL HAIL LEAF BRACER - INVULNERABLE AND MIGHTY
+Spencer Grady this. I remembered always taking three steps then pressing square to keep his clone at bay. But in this fight, if Sora is not at complete health when the attack happens, you're fucked. It's a luck-based fight then :(

So lemme get this straight...
In the warmup fight against Xemnas, the following reaction commands do different stuff:
- Clash: nothing except cause Sora and Xemnas to pass each other up
- Break Through: hits Xemnas for massive damage
- Finish: drops Xemnas' HP to 1
...finish doesn’t bring him to 1 health, that would be way too overpowered, but it does do a lot of damage

@@khmasterva6919 if you were to get it at the start of the battle that wouldn't happen. It just does alot of damage.
@@lordlofus1399 but you can't get it at the start of the battle, you have to drop him below a set amount of health before it even becomes an option, so you don't actually know whether it would just do a lot (two words, alot is not a word) of damage. As it stands it does in fact drop him to 1 HP so that's what it does, drops him to 1 HP.

Yeah the first time i tried Xemnas Org Data battle, I beat him fairly easily and I was like WHAT OMG THIS WAS SO EASY. Then... the second battle started and I cried. Thanks, Papa Namura... for crushing my excitement.
That moment (6:23 ~ 6:25) when you lost and the only message you could read was "Sora is doomed!"
I just love the way Xemnas spins and flips around with his Interdiction blades
I was watching your video while playing through all of the mushrooms, data battles, and the lingering will. I played with your videos and watching them really helped me with defeating the bosses... Especially the lingering will I watched your video and I got him in 3 tries on critical and it took me forever on my proud mode save file. Thanks for all the great kh2.5 final mix videos.
Shoutout to you Soraa! I just finished the organization data battles with Xemnas and all your vids helped for the few I just couldn't or didn't want to figure out myself. Axel and Vexen were the biggest pains in the ass for me truly!

@@seanlockhart2573 i thought i was going to have a ton of trouble with data larxene and roxas but those are the 2 i beat on my first try. xemnas is giving me a ton of trouble. only fight i found about equally difficult was the water guy.

That bloody Sora possession always kills me!
Being the leader of Nobodies, his attacks resemble the fine line between light and darkness (hence his title). In fact, those black and white thorns he shoots out, the coat he wears in his last battle, and how close his world is to *Twilight* Town all convey the duality of light and darkness, yin and yang. And yet now I'm noticing another form of duality Xemnas illustrates aside from the black and white thorns--he can use red energy and blue energy. Here, the blue energy might be the "yin" as it takes the form of those spheres, which (1) resembles the sphere Xemnas uses to drain Sora's health and (2) even contains some fogs of darkness in them as some may have noticed. Both qualities are "yin" the way I see it. And then there's the red energy (the "yang") which Xemnas can manifest into his infamous Ethereal Blades which can take the form of light sabers as well as laser beams, both of which have "yang" qualities: heat, brightness, physical damage (meaning it could wound you unlike "yin" energy which probably just saps away strength--a different form of damage.) Of course, this is just one way to look at it, I could be completely wrong about all this as this blue and red yin yang duality theory isn't factual.

The reaction commands on the ps3 are delayed because the system is loading the command from the disk as your fighting and reading from a disk is slow. The ps4 versuon does not have this issue
Imagine if sora could've kept gravity xemnas couldn't move with how much you can spam magic in kh2

only thing I hate about this fight, you have start all the way from three beginning.
Xemnas first battle has pretty much same moves as in kh1 (i know its easy as fuck in kh2) but its kinda nice to see how sora has grown cuz kh1 that was challenge but not anymore
You're the best at kingdom hearts man totally subscribing to you and hope to (eventually lol) see an epic KH3 walkthrough. I'm still stuck on this battle as we speak on the 1.5 & 2.5 remix lol
Dunno if you're paying attention to this video anymore, or if you've figured out the timing for the orbs exactly, but when he sends out his orbs, land next to him, but don't attack him. Dodge roll the next time he sends out the orbs, and as long as you don't touch an orb while you do, you can wail on him.

You can use reflect to stop when he does "Can you spare a heart"
also when you were talking about in the original the reaction command doesn't work it was like that for the original Final Mix too so you have to use Reflect when he starts that

Overlord Yin Yang--badass as ever! Also, for a moment I actually thought he was never going to shoot his red lasers (except the desperation move near the end) but he did after all. At first, all he shot was those blue F-you balls and even the energy on his hands was blue instead of the original red then.
I'm glad to report, that with this videos I have managed to defeat this.... Nobody.... Thank you once again

When xemnas said i been to see him he looks a lot like you he was refering to sora from kh1 in hollow bastion
The success I get with counter guarding him is completely random sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t
When I defeated both the first and second Xemnas data battle, I kinda cheesed it by using Trinity Limit, a bunch of ethers, and using Limit Form's Sonic Rave. And prayed to god that I could save sora from Xemna's Could you spare a heart move in the second fight. After that, I took down his hp relatively quickly. I used that method in my 4th try.
Xemnas is the last one I have to do now, and I’m super afraid. His first form really is easy, but his second form is difficult, especially when he tosses you in the air and you have to do those reversals to dodge. I never thought to use a limit command for Riku during that portion, so I’ll have to give it a try!
I didn’t even realize that was a glitch, though. Where sometimes the reaction command doesn’t work during the reversals? No wonder I kept getting trashed. Ugh. Even in story mode. I remember he was easy to beat in the original during story mode, but he kept destroying me with those stupid reversals in the HD PS3 version.
But I’ve made it this far on my critical mode file, so he _will_ get destroyed like everyone else.

this is the last data battle that im not able to beat. i finished the first boss and i was like, hell yeah but then the second fight began. when i lost i thought ill just restart from second fight but turns out from beginning
Would also like to know why after dying, starting back from first fight instead of second fight.
i beat everything except data xemnas, lingering will, and a couple mushrooms. this game takes a long time to 100%. my clock is at 99 hours.

Whoa, was 8:03 something that happened in the original game too? I don't ever remember seeing that little sequence, but I guess that's because Reversal actually worked.
That happens if you got hit too much in his attack sequence... Yes this also happens in the original.
my memory of the xemnas data fight is very different. I remember the xemnas data fight starting at the tower and then having to go through every phase of his fight, not just tower and then him in the white coat in the nobody sphere room. When did it change to this?
If there's one thing I absolutely hate about the Final Xemnas fight... It's the lack of depth perception. Because of how things look (background moving, plus a transparent floor), I find it fairly difficult to actually tell if a ranged attack is close or not.

Ok I have a question when sora and riku have to block with triangle and x what's the way your doing it are you pressing both triangle and x at the same time or are you pressing both one after the other at a moderate speed I'm asking because I'm at the final boss in KH2 FM but I always die at the part where xemnas throws a whole bunch of lasers at you I cant seem to beat it any advice
I smashed the heck out of both of them at the same time. I probably didn't do it right, but it worked lol.

My god, Data Final Xemnas is ruthless. It took me many tries to beat him. The worst part is that if you die, you have to do the first fight again, which just made it even harder.
Riku often died for me when I tried saving Sora from getting his health zapped :/

Damn, I finished the second one from the third time on critical. But these fights were awesome all my brothers are watching me and enjoying how difficult to win. I had the most hard time with lexues the one with the huge sword.

You can actually block the can you spare a heart attack by using reflect

How do you beat the reaction command in phase 1? I keep spamming triangle, but the clash won't happen. Do i have to press attack as well during the reaction command? Cause so far triangle is not doing anything.
The reaction command actually comes up 3 times if you look at the names above the "Attack" command on the command menu. The longer you wait as Sora and Xemnas approach each other, the better reaction command you are gonna get. Wait too long and you'll take damage though!

There is a way to not take damege when thrown in the air you have to spawm triangle like a madman to survie so its not a glinch you just have to spawm triangle
the final Xemnas battle/data battle "can you spare me a heart?" "sora FUCK NO" *goes limit form* use limit form when Xemnas says can you spare a heart and DO NOT use pause buffering your more likely to be caught into it the drive is meant to cancel it

No matter what i do, the finish command makes the fail animation play, i even pause buffer
I actually did the opposite. ^.^ I defeated the Lingering Will at level 93(God that was hard battle!) and beat the whole entire Data Replica of each Organization XIII members at level 96. It only took for me to beat them were two days. Good remastered version of this game! Now to play the Hades Paradox cups! ^_^
I unlocked the data org room but there was only 8 of the organization fights is is cuz i was on normal mode?
No, it's because you didn't fight the Absent Silhouettes for the Castle Oblivion members. Their data battle won't show up until you do.
How do you do so much damage
When xemnas throws u upward, i just use reflect then reaction command, that way i can dmg him while doing reversal

I found out that if Xemnas throws u up in the air, u need use to airial recovery and then reversal will work.
I just use Riku's Limit because of all the invincibility frames

Yea that will work too, but he is soo strong and one slip up can get u killed. I rather evade his attacks when he throws me up in the air, and attack when i see an opening.
I always wondered why soras curaga heals party members but donald curaga only heals sora.

I don't get how you are surviving with so few health. I get it that you're on Critical, but I'm on normal and when I'm playing with Riku, Sora's health is dropping so fast I can't even get to Xemnas with the Dark Aura method!

Just saying, I sincerely want to thank you. I have seen multiple videos on the Organisation XIII Data but have always been unable to follow them. A lot of the time they are too expert and leave no room for mistakes, yet you make mistakes and this was perfect for me. I have officially managed to FINALLY get my golden crown and it is thanks to you! I ironically used your video of mushroom XIII couple years back and probably should have just continued you use you. Thanks again! 😆

@@mydogeatspuke it is irony when you think about the fact that I tried so many different TH-cam videos for the Data and completely failed, before finding this one and doing well (without realising that he also did the mushroom videos). The irony is that I might as well have continued with this TH-camr, because I came back to him in the end without realising. It would have saved me a lot of time and doubt.

I don't think thats a glitch I think its because you didn't have mp go back to those places and look at your mp but I could be wrong because I did not try the final mix+ but I've played final mix and got the gold crown baby

I had no idea what to do when Xemnas put that orb on me in the first battle, so seeing your video was very helpful to know what to do next. Also, your video exposed me to the fact that the data replica has two battles! I ended up going back to TWTNW, preparing Riku, then going back to fight Xemas. I also didn't realise that dying in the second half means redoing the entire thing. Yikes. But I got the hang of it. Using Dark Aura was the last piece of the puzzle I needed to survive as Riku and get to Sora in time. So, thank you for this video!
You can equip riku with more potions saves your magic for cure and reflect and decicisive Pumpkin makes more damage every combo and equip ethers to refill your magic faster
The glitch with reversal is in the original

to avoid the balls, stand near him, reflect and continue you combo. if you too far, reflect won't do any damage so just quick run through.
