"I Like It" was the second single released by the Liverpudlian band Gerry and the Pacemakers. Similar to their first number one hit "How Do You Do It," this song was also penned by Mitch Murray. "I Like It" topped the UK Singles Chart on June 20, 1963, remaining in the number one spot for four weeks. In 1964, it achieved a peak position of No. 17 on the American charts.
