This is an EYE OPENER .... thanks for showing us.
Thanks for this honest review man, i was a bout to place order just a couple of minutes ago. So, I guess I will have to forget about buying this.
Just received my order for these welding rods. Browsing YT to see how to use them & found this video instead. Well, am not surprised with the results. Anyway thanks for the informative video.
terimakasih sudah mengulas dengan jujur produk ini
Never seen them so thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for genuine review.😊
Thanks for the review men
Estas barras son para cosas que no necesitan esfuerzo:tapar un tarro con un agujero, fijar algo liviano, etc.
Useful video. Thank you.
If the work pieces being joined together are not melted, it is not welding.
These are soldering rods and they are probably quite toxic.
No China would never sell us anything with lead in it.😵
Thanks for the advice..
Thank you for sharing, I was going to buy one of them.
You need to heat the metal after cleaning/scouring if its going to have a chance to even stick to it. That's no welding by the way, brazing/soldering at best, but again not flux nor preparation is not really adequate, so don't blame the materials. Same with the galv tube, you need to clean it first. But yeah, those rods are crap anyway
Thanks for the advice and watching
@@kbl4758 Horse shitski, caveat emptor my guy. The only way to learn is to assume our own stupidity, THEN there is nothing to blame
More like a low temp hot glue 😊 but without the glue 😂.
They come in lots of different colors. They're called crayola 😂😂😂😂
Thank you
Look it is wax with aluminum powder (or ultrafine glitter). It would be more suitable for film maker props to imitate the look of real welding.
Thanks
Thank you for your videos it helps not to get it
LOL....
If you are just melting the rod then the base metal is not melting then you are soldering at best.😀
I think they're meant to connect wires as a replacement for soldering iron not to weld heavy metals together !
Did you clean the pieces you tried to weld? Like did u use a wire brush and then wipe it down with alcohol
No I didn't, but I will try it...Thanks for the advice..
Sandpaper son
Thanks for the vid, had a good laugh.
Especially how easily the parts came apart at the end. Typical chinesium product that somewhat kinda looks like the real deal, until you actually try to use it lol.
NIce; car frame fixed.
The material to be joined needs to be brought up to temperature otherwise it is a cold shut
The joint has the wax consistence. Can be useful tò close holes but nothing more
Not sure what product you are using but you may have better luck if you heat the parent material until it will melt the stick instead of heating the stick
True, but he did exactly as described in instructions. These ads regarding this product are all over the place. Seen them myself and came close to ordering. Rule of thumb: if it seems to good to be true, it is.
It did look to good to be true.
Hahahahaha ,thanks I needed a laugh.
Yeah I laughed to.....
Maybe used as a filler on a leaky exhaust.... or not.
Great idea....Thanks
You think this suit for make a airgun pellet?😅
I was really hoping for a good review.. I need to do some welding, but it's literally right next to my fuel line, like..2cm from it ..aaaaaah damnit😢
It's just like a crayons 😅
That's crayons 🖍 😅
Those low temp rods are fake. The genuine ones, you need to heat up the aluminium to around 700c for the welding rods to melt on contact & bonds as strong as the rest of the aluminium. They don't work on steel or any other alloys except aluminium. Also, you don't apply heat to the rods themselves & the fact some of them were still burning after removing the flame, tells me they're fake & shouldn't be used at all, because who knows what harmful chemicals are burning out of them.
I've been buying mine from Temo, now & again eBay when I need them. The size & look of them should be long, thing, shiny & not looking like a block of old lead. Been making stuff out of aluminium with these for a few years now & made a wind turbine for the garden 2 years ago using wielding rods & it's still going strong.
Thanks I really appreciate the feedback...Can you give me a link to the right ones?
@@TechondoGadgetsTechReviews Any other way to send you a link? I've tried 3x posting here & they just keep removing the entire post.
Best I can do is google Aluminium 4043 or 4043A welding rods & they must be flux-core or they're not the right ones. Temu sell them which I tried to link you but this place just remove the post. As long as it says flux core aluminon welding rods, they should be the ones. Should look like shiny metal rods not a dull grey.
BIG THANKS. 😄😄😄hahaha
I think you're supposed to heat the metal first
Maybe, I'll try it...Thanks
Awesome. LMAO
Pretty ballsey (or stupid) putting heat to galvanized, especially indoors.
Im very stupid for doing that.
These are largely made of silicone
China?? Wonder if their ships are fabricated with these??🤔🤔
So sad, they would've been cool if they worked well.
God bless.
give them more time , perhaps they are stronger
I'll try that..Thanks
lol cool mask bro
LOL Thanks
Well test. But stop testing anything anymore. You did not do the cleaning job 😂
Waste of money and deadly health risk!
It should be banned worldwide.
I agree totally...
LOL silver crayons?
Yes I agree
Chinaaaaaa 😂
LOL....Yep It's China for you...
😂😂😂😂😂
dude, dont you know to blaze? you suppose to heat the metal and let the rod melt from the metal
Thanks for letting me know...I'll try it..
Looks like a glue stick
looks like toxic crap if u clean the parts and heat it well and but mor of the stuff maby better results then
Yeah I think your right...Thanks for watching...
lol
That is werry sucks because thats emergency rod only
Lol waste of money I guess.😅
No he is doing so slow
Thanks
Thanks
